The charity is established for the benefit of Africans in the UK and abroad by advancing education & training, relieving poverty, recreational activities, overseas aid and famine relief, arts & culture.

Deafroots' mission is to undertake research and actions to address the inequalities faced by Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. Based in the London Borough of Newham, Deafroots is a registered Charity that was established in 2000 to support Deaf and hard of hearing people in UK and abroad, with a focus on Black, Asian and Minority ethnic (BAME) community.

The objects of the CIO are the advancement of education in the performing arts, including but not limited to theatre, screen acting, and filmmaking, particularly among children, young persons, and ethnic minorities, or those from disadvantaged backgrounds, or with disabilities.

As a focus for our mission, The Kew Theology and Gardening Charity has developed a programme of activities available across the Diocese of Southwark and beyond including retreats (quiet days) and lectures addressing contemporary issues related to theology, gardening and the environment.

The Vivekananda Human Centre promotes the philosophy of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda of Human Excellence, Unity in Diversity, Universal Tolerance, Harmony and Peace. It stages events through the course of the year to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds - regardless of age, belief, gender or sexuality. Events include an annual "Festival of Unity in Diversity."

July 5th 2010The charity was launched at the House of Lords through the kind Patronage of Baroness Flather and Chief Guest was the Lord Speaker Baroness Hayman. The Charity reflects Pakistani women of the United Kingdom and that our Friends For Life should be women of Pakistani origin as well as women of other nationalities who have an affinity for Pakistan.

Deeper Grace Church endeavours to advance the Christian faith for the public benefit by holding services every Sunday morning, Homecell Bible Studies every Thursday and different, "speacial" programmes between that every month. For example, 'Young Wise'. A new youth organised division of the church.We believe in community and the unity community activities like these build.

The support of a brass band and the provision of guidance and training to its members. The education of the public in the art of brass band music through the presentation of concerts and other musical activities.

Raising of funds to support archaeological work of all kinds (though not normally excavation or projects which should be supported by developers) in the City of London and its environs; particularly in publication and research of archaeological material, and education in archaeology.

Reaching Out Community Fellowship as Charitable Organisation:-We regularly make donations of food, grocery and toiletry to the Foodbank in our local communities.We identify and make food items and clothes donations to entire villages and various orphanages in Ghana. We are working with vulnerable adults and children or individuals who are in desperate situations.

Grants to poor and needy Watermen and/or Lightermen of the River Thames and assistance to their widows.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

To promote the performing arts for the benefit of the public and to advance the education of the public in the arts through the presentation of theatrical productions and broadcasts.We Light Up the House has a particular interest in reaching large and diverse audiences with highly visual performance offering insight and compelling stories into the way we live.

SIM organises an annual Festival of Shakespeare in Music in Stratford-upon-Avon, close to the Bard's birthday 23 April. The Festival contains a dozen musical recitals - from Renaissance to Rap - as well as several educational talks on Shakespeare's musical legacy. SIM invites musicians at all stages of their career to perform in the Festival and appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Note-Orious Choir, based in South East London, exists to serve various purposes, but succeeds in none more than in the advancement of the musical education it provides to both members and audience alike. The choir runs on a no-audition basis and is open to everyone in its local community of East Dulwich and the surrounding areas.
