We work in Greater London with young people 5-25 to:stage inclusive community Talent Shows;organise workshops that promote confident self-presentation and leadership skills;link them to developmental experiences in fields such as arts, business, community activism and other disciplines that advance their future capacities for personal/professional growth, as well as civic engagement.

-Running a charity shop and an OFFICE with ICT/Audiovisual facilities for organisations and users-Providing interpreting & translating (French/Lingala/Swahili)-Publishing Newsletter and booklets -Assisting by door-to-door visits-Celebrating UK/Africa culture, heritage and common UK/Congo history -Connecting Africa/DR Congo & UK & delivering international anti-poverty projects for Africa

During the COVID 19 pandemic JESA-UK activities reduced significantly. However, now that it is over we are progressing with activites such as walkathon, banquet, etc. This will give us the necessaty funds to carry on with our charitable work at home and abroad. We also work with other charities to help the elderly feel at home especially at Christmas

We unveiled the Stairway to Heaven Memorial in Bethnal Green Gardens on 17 December 2017. It honours the 173 people that died and over 90 injured, plus the Emergency Services personnel, involved the Bethnal Green tube shelter disaster 3rd March 1943 - the worst civilian disaster of the 2nd World War. We continue to raise funds to help with maintenance and ongoing educational talks, etc.

Since October 2011 we operate a city-wide Winter Coat Appeal, collecting 2000+ used winter coats from schools, businesses and other organisations. Once these coats are sorted for quality and cleanliness, we redistribute them directly to London-based charities who pass them out directly to Londoners who otherwise would not have had a coat. Calling London is entirely volunteer-based and -run.

Parent in needs for Autism awareness and how to supports their carers. Also oral health promotion education for youths and young adult awareness of individual appearance.

The main activities include running a respite project for carers and ex carers, interfaith activities, offering mindfulness based stress reduction courses and offering support to prisoners and those nearing end of life.

The activities of the organisation include: translation and interpretation; provision of information, advice and advocacy on health, education, training, employment, housing and welfare benefits. WHH also sign-posts and refers its service-users to specialist providers, as well as accompanying these service-users so as to translate, interpret, advocate and support them. .
