COMMUNITY CENTRE AND MUSEUM

The object of Crynwyr Cymru- Quakers in Wales is the furtherance of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain within Wales, and beyond.

The Charity's Objects are to increase the awareness of social, cultural & religious values of India amongst the communities we live in by such means as the Trustees shall from time to time determine.

The WWBG works to bring about a more prosperous and equitable Wales within which all women enjoy an equal share of resources, power and influence. Bringing together economic thinkers, academics, policymakers and women's networks, we exist to influence Welsh and UK spending decisions and resource allocation, ensuring that they are fair and gender equal

To provide voluntary surveillance and rescue service in the area of the Knap, in the Vale of Glamorgan.To provide a purposeful form of physical recreation for its members.To further the aims of lifesaving and lifeguard work.

Grant Making

Raising awareness of trafficking and slavery by organising events, providing training and creating resources. Supporting survivors of trafficking through a befriending programme and small grants. Forming partnerships with churches and other organisations committed to extending gospel hope to the trafficked, exploited and enslaved.

Providing opportunities for vulnerable and hard to reach individuals and groups who have limited access to participatory arts experiences in highly deprived areas in ex-mining communities in the South Wales Valleys. Open Access Tailored Participatory Workshops. Commissioned Projects in partnership with statutory, community, national or international organisations.

ARLIS/UK & Ireland: the Art Libraries Society is a professional organisation founded in 1969 for those concerned with the documentation of visual art. It has members subscribing mostly from the UK and Ireland, including librarians, archivists, curators and publishers.

The object of the charity is to provide low cost sheltered housing to members of the town or parish of Welshpool who are over the age of sixty years and in need.

YOUTH WORK

Operate Charity Shop in Burry Port, Carmarthenshire. This shop acts as a community information point for animal related issues. Our volunteers are able to offer advice and help, and sometimes refer people to other charities or agencies, as appropriate.We specialise in helping the elderly and vulnerable, living alone, with their pets, especially when they may die, or be taken ill or into care.

We run a community centre for all the community to use as they want.

To relieve elderly people in need and provide social actvities,supporting the mental and spiritual welfare of members.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

The Trustees will make grants, at their discretion, in support of the Reserves and Cadets of the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, as provided by the charitable purposes of the CIO.

Running of Village Hall for the local community

The relief of suffering and distress of those endangered by accident or natural hazard, in South and Mid Wales but without geographical limitation by: searching for and rescuing people in difficulties in mountainous regions or inhospitable environments, raising awareness of mountain safety, developing rescue techniques, provide training and working effectively with other rescue services.

To maintain, improve and advance the education of the public through financial support for the practice and performance of wind band music; By representing and furthering the interests of the wind band sector in Wales comprising of supporting all those activities that are associated with wind bands through financial grants; by any means as the trustees see fit

Promote, maintain, improve & advance education & appreciation of the arts in all forms in Caldicot & surrounding areas. Provide opportunity for all local people, without exception, to access & take part in developing in all aspects of performing arts through teaching & coaching to benefit them, the public, other organisations & charities. Produce live musical theatre to a high standard.

General Social activity

To provide a venue for the benefit of the entire community, in order for them to fulfil their sporting,social and adult educational needs.
