Community Sports and Meetings

Our mission is to walk hand in hand with families of terminally ill children or bereaved parents, Helping and supporting them on their journey. Giving families the opportunity to create lasting memories through holidays and experiences, away from the hospital environment. Also offer financial support to help families be their with each other without stress or worry. We operate in Wales.

Provision of grants to assist able students with a Welsh connection study at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, at undergraduate or postgraduate level. students may apply who have been born in Wales, lived in Wales or studied in Wales.

MEET TWICE A WEEK TO GET ELDERLY PEOPLE TOGETHER, HAVE A CUP OF TEA, BISCUIT MEAL ETC. PLAY BINGO & GO ON OUTINGS.

CONTINUALLY DEVELOP THE CENTRE, PROVIDING BETTER FACILITIES (INCLUDING NEW TECHNOLOGY) FOR THE COMMUNITY; HAVING RECENTLY EXTENDED THE BUILDING AND PROVIDING A NEW EXHIBITION ON THE LAWS OF HYWEL. ENCOURAGE LOCAL SCHOOLS TO TAKE PART IN ORGANISED WORKSHOPS & PROJECT WORK, AS WELL AS WELCOME TOURIS

WE WILL BE LOOKING TO OFFER PHYSICAL ACTIVITY SESSIONS TO YOUNG PEOPLE DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE WILL ALSO BE SUPPORTING LOCAL GIRL NETWORK GROUPS IN SCHOOL TO SET UP ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOLS.

A community hall for the use of the inhabitants of Merthyr Cynog and surrounding area and those who wish to hire it.

Repatriation Services Trust (REST) aim is to assist with financial help and give support to bereaved families by repatriating their loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back home to Wales To continue the Trust with fundraising activities and donations. To recruit supporters of the Trust to sustain its purpose and ideals.

Sing at concerts for other charities and worthwhile causes

To promote the education of young persons residing within the administrative counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with a special interest and ability in ballet, by the provision of scholarships to attend the Northern Ballet School for the best boy and the best girl selected in any one year by the school to be capable of benefiting from such education.

To provide ammenties for the community of Penparcau and wider area to use for various cultural, community and sporting activities.

The provision and maintenance of a social welfare centre, a recreation ground, a playing field and a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of the beneficial area without distinction of sex, or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures, classes, physical exercise and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.
