Cymdeithas Alawon Gwerin Cymru collects and publishes Welsh folk-songs and undertakes research on the Welsh folk tradition. It publishes an annual journal, Canu Gwerin, collections of folk-songs and folk-song arrangements, and other works relating to the Welsh folk tradition.

Mindfulness Wales provides activities for practitioners to support a coordinated approach to promoting mindfulness in Wales including:- establishing a national network connecting those with an interest in mindfulness - promoting the involvement of organisations and individuals and - communicating with policy makers across sectors to educate and support them in understanding the benefits.

AS PART OF THE SCOUTING ASSOCIATION, we provide a building for use and recreation of the children and youth of Trevor and suurrounding area, so they can participate in all types of scouting related activities and training.

Dharma Mandir Newport hosts cultural and religious celebrations such as Diwali and Navratri, empowers youth through Bhagavad Gita classes, and serves as a vital community support network during hardship and loss by facilitating wakes and memorials. Our multifaceted approach reflects a commitment to belonging and cultural appreciation revolved around the tenets of Sanatan Dharma.

It is our aim that Llangathen Village Hall is an affordable resource for all neighbourhood individuals and groups. It is to provide a good standard of facilities for meetings, sports events, classes/courses, concerts, talks, educational events and any other forms of recreation with the object of benefiting local inhabitants without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

RELIGIOUS Services

The hall forms the heart of the community holding meetings, concerts, debates and social functions. Now the Ceiriog Memorial Institute Museum has been refurbished and consists of a display area for the many unique exhibits which have been donated to the institute since 1911.

Provision of Llandovery Theatre and its facilities for all. Llandovery Theatre Company write and direct the plays, pantomimes, literacy and drama workshops for and with the community, youth actors and young people with learning disabilities. We aim to support talent, develop skills, build self confidence and to foster a life long interest in attending theatre performances and acting on stage.

To run the village hall in the village of Boncath, Pembs.

DELIVER, EACH YEAR, UP TO 20 LECTURES ON ASTRONOMICAL SUBJECTS. PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS ASTRONOMICAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING PUBLIC OUTREACH EVENTS. HOLD STAR PARTIES & SOLAR VIEWING EVENTS AT THE SOCIETY'S OBSERVATORY WHERE CAS MEMBERS (AND OFTEN MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC) CAN USE THE SOCIETY'S ASTRONOMICAL EQUIPMENT. MAINTAIN A WEBSITE & A LIBRARY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION & BOOKS ON ASTRONOMY
