Age Connects Wales is a social enterprise made up of six local, independent Age Connects organisations with over 40 years' experience supporting older people and their carers in Wales. Together, our member organisations support around 45,00 clients within 11 of the 22 local authority areas in some of the most socially and economically deprived parts of Wales. VOICES ADFOCAD operates across Wales to promote and advocate for the rights of Unpaid Carers.

Village Hall

Weekly befriending coffee sessions for multicultual communities especially the isolated; setting up of a community info point. Weekly children & youths activities including, group discussions, games, setting up of community library. Educational trips and half term music workshop. Community Visitations. Evangelistic outreach. Advice and counselling. Donations to individuals and charities.

Summer BBQ held annually for children and young people with disabilities and their families to socialise, network and escape the pressure of everyday life. Annual Christmas party with the same purpose as above. Fundraising Gala Evening in October to raise vital funds for the charity. Any other fundraising activities decided by the trustees that will ensure the charity can continue running.

The study and practice of Choral Music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such by means of public performance.

The Welsh island of Flat Holm is a unique SSSI Local Nature Reserve in the Bristol Channel & managed by a Partnership of Cardiff City Council & The Flat Holm Society. Our aims are:* raise money through grants & other fund-raising activities* supply volunteers to work on & off the island* promote the island at various events through social media and other activitiesAnyone can join.

Fundraising is mainly carried out by members of the public by charitable events. This also serves to raise awareness of the funding possibilities of the charity to families that previously had no access to this type of funding.

The monitoring of the Red Kite population in Wales including the organisation of watchers who carry out the field work involved in locating the pairs of nesting Red Kites in the breeding season, arranging to ring and tag the young in each nest and producing a breeding report showing the the total breeding pairs and the number of young Red Kites fledged.

We hold an annual party for Senior Citizens and fundraise for various charities by carrying out a number of activities such as Carol singing, raffles, etc.

A community owned building run by a voluntary management committee. Serving the parish of Llanafanfawr and surrounding districts. The building is used for meetings, parties, funeral teas, auctions, workshops,etc.

Provision of bursaries for underprivileged students who are chosen to attend the 2 week course for the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. Assistance with the hire of music scores for the course, funding for overseas tours and awarding a prize for the most promising student on the course.

As a Lion's Club, we run a number of fund raising events during the year which enables us to make donations to a wide variety of local, national and international charities and appeals.
