Shopmobility is a scheme which lends manual or powered wheelchairs and powered scooters to members of the public with limited mobility.

Academic Ear, Nose and Throat surgery conferences twice yearly, with public lecture every two years.Sponsorship of ENT surgeons/doctors to undertake additional training and academic study.

BRIXHAM WOMENS INSTITUTEOffers education, leisure activities and friendship to women who are members of the National Federation of Womens Institutes

Running a young peoples centre in Torquay to provide a facility for young people where they can develop their physical, mental and spiritual abilities in their leisure time.

The object of the Charity is the relief of persons resident in Devon who are in need, hardship or distress.

The SDIO is based in the meantime at the Courtenay Centre,Kingsteignton Rd, Newton Abbot TQ12 2QAIt offers spacious and good facilities. The Centre hosts a range of our activities including Friday sermon, few daily paryers and the community monthly meeting. Also our 2 religious celebrations (2 Eid)

Enables Unitarian religious activity in Torbay

Currently the charity raises money through it`s shop premises to provide grants to disabled people with families.This can also cover direct help to the carers where they need help with a break/holiday or any other support that may be available e.g advise.Those with internet can click onto the charity web site ,read what others say and enter their owns views.There is also a holiday home for carers.

We are a uniformed youth group for girls aged 9-21 years. We offer all forms of Nautical Activities, including boating, rowing, canoeing, swimming and occasional sailing in the summer. Badge work, water safety, 1st Aid and knot work etc. in the winter. The girls have lots of fun and adventure on and off the water, learn to work together as a team and make new friends.

Looking after the old and infirm members of our Branch. Assisting in Regimental Charities, Help for Heroes, Holidays for Heroes, Royal British Legion, etc.

Advice and information for Kurdish community in Devon and Cornwall including recreation activities; training; interpreting; history, culture and folklore, Integration project, Kurdish mother-tongue classes, Cultural events, advocacy, Kurdish music and Dance group, Women group as well as youth group.

Supporting the music of the Parish of Paignton

To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full time gainful employment.The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

Provide accommodation and facilities for social, sporting and other activities for the disabled, either individually or in groups

We are a non auditioned choir who sing for pleasure. Performing 3 concerts per year in the Torbay area and providing a workshop for people to come and sing with us once a year.

PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES & THEIR CARERS/HELPERS. THE OBJECT IS TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR SUCH PERSONS.ACE OFFERS CLASSES EACH WEEK, TERM TIME, AT SOUTH DEVON COLLEGE INCLUDING SWIMMING, THURSDAY GROUP SOCIAL MORNING, SPORT MOBILITY AND DRAWING AND PAINTING.

To promote the Royal Navy, and donate to service related charities as and when possible.

School Fairs and activities to raise money for the children at Cockington School.

Helping local distressed persons and local needs.

Financial assistance to people and local charities in the Brixham area where the Trustees consider that need is established
