To conserve Kents Cavern prehistoric caves and surrounding area covered by the Scheduled Ancient Monument listing and the SSSI designation.To catalogue, archive and manage the Kents Cavern collection worldwide.To establish and maintain a museum of prehistory and to advance Stone Age education and research for the benefit of the public

Music Concerts for Charities

We are no longer raising funds, however the charity still holds assets which are used to provide medical equipment and to support buiding projects with the aim of improving the lives of patients with cancer in the areas served by the oncology departments of Exeter, Torbay and North Devon.

Raising funds for the benefit of the pupils at St Margaret Clitherow RC Primary School

We raise money for the welfare of ex R.A.F. personnel and serving R.A.F. personnel and their families

Social, educational and leisure activities

Brixham Junior Sailing Club is an RYA training centre (AALA license) run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are ONLY interested in helping the young people to learn how to sail and be safe on the water. All instructors and safety boat drivers are qualified by the Royal Yachting Association and have DBS checks. We operate two evenings per week with our 21 sailing dinghies and 2 safety boats.

Educational resources

In furtherance of its aims to encourage involvement in regional heritage and archaeology, CBA South West produces two newsletters/journals and holds two or three open meetings each year.

Provide sailing dinghies, rescue boats and qualified instructors to enable school children in Torbay to have the opportunity to sail. Training facilities and teaching aids are provided and through RYA (Royal Yachting Association) approved courses this enables children to gain sailing qualifications.Through the RYA Onboard Scheme sailing opportunities are available to disadvantaged children.

The charity will look to attract philanthropic donations to support improved educational outcomes and life chances for children and young people across the South West through work which supports lives of choice and opportunity. SWOF will work in partnership with other key partners in the community to contribute to the development of environments, within which our young people can thrive.

Preserve and protect the health of the patients of Brunel Medical Practice.Advance the education and training of staff of the practice including other health care providers associated with the practice.Advance the education of pupils at Penisula Medical School by the provision of facilities not required to be provided by the education authority for education and training at the practice.
