We are a charitable Foundation based in Devon which helps individuals facing extreme difficulties where such financial help may offer some long term benefit.

COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY WORKS WITH PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS AND OF NONE. IT SEEKS TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL, EMPOWERING AND AFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS BOTH PRIOR TO DISCHARGE AND ON RELEASE, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY SUCCESSFULLY RE-INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY, REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL AND NOT RETURN TO PRISON.

St Mags is a Jesus centred, Grace filled, Kingdom living community based in the heart of Torquay, welcoming people from all walks of life. The Living Room is our community cafe creating a safe place, particularly for the homeless, enabling us to signpost people to appropriate support organisations. Our Playroom welcomes over 50 children per week and we run various children's groups on Sundays.

To provide support, resources & facilities to visually impaired people across Devon by:- Offering advice and support about equipment & magnifiers. To sell equipment where required.- Informing about Charity services and signposting to other services- Matching people to trained volunteers who can visit them or take them out.- Running social and training activities- Providing grants

Situated in Torquay, Windmill Torbay offers a wide range of services aimed at improving the well-being and social integration of Torbay residents. Activities include youth clubs, adult wellbeing and support, health and welfare initiatives and benefits advice services. We provide a safe space for people to connect, learn, and access resources.

DDE IS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROMOTION OF GLOBAL EDUCATION IN DEVON

During year ending 30/06/25 TOADS performed 8 productions (0ne of 12 perfomances, others 7 ) with 1 night for local charities. Youth Group provided a production of 2 nights. 2 months were dark for essential maintenance. A variety of 1 night professional acts appeared during the season. A regular afternoon social club, monthly cinema club and themed social evenings are also available.

The charity is in the first instance a Christian body. Therefore, the main thrust of our actitvities is the promotion of the Christian Faith by supporting and staffing Christian Ministry within the Local Churches that comprise the Charity. By means of various meetings the charity facilitates and administers this work with the support of the Trustees.

A primary aim of the Trust is to improve support for the community by providing them with suitable accommodation and support in this remarkable location. We shall also provide education and skills to disadvantaged members of our community. Creative people will also be encouraged to contribute to our activities.

Vocal offers a free and independent issue based Advocacy services for adults with learning disabilities or communication difficulties.Vocal is also able to take on specialist contract work and can provide training for small groups of clients and the people who support them.

Our activities include: securing the continuation and development of Brixham Theatre as a community asset for the advancement of art and culture for the public benefit in Brixham & South Devon. To encourage & facilitate the practice of performing arts among young people.To further social inclusion.

To promote use of the Centre as a community facility and resource for the social, leisure, and educational interests of all residents of Torbay and the surrounding area.

The preservation, operation, maintenance and protection of the 1895 sailing trawler Pilgrim of Brixham BM45, which is of historic and maritime importance. Pilgrim is a member of the UK National Historic Fleet.

Providing support and advice to the local resident's of Ellacombe. Also providing a drop-in community hub offering a range of social activities ranging from coffee mornings to bingo. Also community based activities and social engagement with young people. Offering a venue which acts as a Community Cafe for all members of the Community.

CentrePeace has established a drop-in community support centre that promotes community cohesion and wellbeing through connecting people with services, resources and social networks in their own community. CentrePeace offers a range of free services, from counselling and support groups to skills and craft workshops.The premises includes a charity shop and cafe.

The charity operates in the RC Diocese of Plymouth & in accordance with its core values of love, justice & forgiveness it*supports families by providing a free parenting programme*makes grants to children and families in dire need*encourages children to think about the needs of others less fortunate

The purpose of the Fairfield Trust is to provide quality rented accommodation for missionaries, clergy and other Christian workers; their spouses, widows or widowers who, following careers serving humanity, either in the UK or abroad have been unable to provide for a home of their own.

Child education.

We operate from The Parish Rooms at Collaton St Mary. The aims of the Pre-school are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age. We provide appropriate play in a stimulating environment with more targeted activities for those children who may require extra support.

Playback Theatre South West creates opportunities for communities of people to engage with issues that affect their lives in workshops and performances. Creative theatre activities support refugees; young carers; people with learning difficulties or mental health issues; women who have experienced domestic abuse; and women's organisations in the South West of England.

To deliver an internationally acclaimed festival which celebrates Agatha Christie's great legacy as a crime writer and cultural icon and promotes Torquay as her birthplace and inspiration.

The Charity governs The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester, in succession to The Devon and Dorset Military Museums Charity (1054956)
