Playback Theatre South West creates opportunities for communities of people to engage with issues that affect their lives in workshops and performances. Creative theatre activities support refugees; young carers; people with learning difficulties or mental health issues; women who have experienced domestic abuse; and women's organisations in the South West of England.

To deliver an internationally acclaimed festival which celebrates Agatha Christie's great legacy as a crime writer and cultural icon and promotes Torquay as her birthplace and inspiration.

The Charity governs The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester, in succession to The Devon and Dorset Military Museums Charity (1054956)

Blood bikers are volunteers who use their advanced motorcycle skills in providing an out of hours service, supporting our NHS partners to transport essential urgent supplies such as Whole Blood, Pathology Samples, Medication, Medical Equipment, Medical Notes and occasionally Donor Breast Milk to the NHS hospitals and hospices throughout Devon and beyond.

Activities cover all areas of religious education and worship in the parish of St Marychurch and pastoral care in the community.

Path Torbay runs a food and support service from 172 Union Street, Torquay. Anyone facing homelessness and crisis in Torbay is welcome to this drop in service 5 days a week, Mon - Fri 1pm - 6pm. PATH provides packed lunches, toiletries and equipment. PATH is a member of the Torbay Food Alliance and runs a busy emergency food bank for anyone struggling in Torbay.

The pre-school is run by fully qualified staff and a voluntary committee of parents/guardians: Both are responsible for the day to day running of the pre-school and all the fundraising activities throughout the year: The funds raised are used to purchase equipment and toys which need to be continuously updated: The pre-school is open term times and takes children from 2yrs to school age.

To provide grants to help children and young people including those with SEN/SEND in their education and training.

Community CPR and AED training.Provision of Public Access Defibrillators in places of need.Promotion of heart screening in young people.

The Margaret Jackson Trust supports The Margaret Jackson Centre in providing low cost, self-referral, short or long-term counselling to people over the age of 18 who are residents of Devon.

Within Torbay, we provide Christian missionary initiatives that serve to alleviate poverty in body, mind and spirit ... including in the areas of food poverty, debt management, abuse recovery, social isolation and wellbeing, prayer and evangelistic events, and community child and youth activities. We partner with churches, schools, agencies and commercial operations to provide joined-up solutions.

The Trust makes grants to organisations to help with the costs of maintenance and repairs of places of worship and provides advocacy, advice and information to applicants about other sources of funding which may be available.

Working with young people in Torbay to aid their educational, personal and social development. This includes lessons in schools, Christian Unions and clubs, evening events and residential events. All from Christian perspective.

We promote the study of genealogy and history, especially of Devon families and places, providing help and advice at meetings, fairs, our research centre and via our website. We actively encourage the preservation and transcription of relevant documents and records, especially for the county of Devon.

Dreadnought promotes the voices of women through the arts and engages with women of all ages and backgrounds. Dreadnought make special efforts to engage with women who may be isolated for social, geographic, cultural and/or economic reasons. In 2018 Dreadnought are running a series of projects throughout the year. Full details of the projects can be found on our website.

The preservation and protection of health and the relief of sickness by the furtherance of medical, dental, health and care research projects directed to that end by members of the medical, dental, health and care professions practicing under the auspices of the Torbay and South Devon medical, dental, health and care community, and the publication of the results of all such research.

Operation Imprezza raises money from donors and fund raising activities to support the establishment of an All-age Academy in Western Province, Kenya which provides education to those who would not otherwise be able to go to school. The students include HIV/AIDS victims and orphans. Girls are given equal access and the school accepts students from all religious and ethnic groups.

TAN supports the advice and information sector in Torbay through its partnership working, signposting services and multi-agency training.
