The Brixham Heritage Museum and History Society was founded for the purpose of recording, saving and displaying the heritage of the historic town and fishing port.

Operation Imprezza raises money from donors and fund raising activities to support the establishment of an All-age Academy in Western Province, Kenya which provides education to those who would not otherwise be able to go to school. The students include HIV/AIDS victims and orphans. Girls are given equal access and the school accepts students from all religious and ethnic groups.

Sunday church services, mid-week meetings, mid-week home groups, leadership development programme, youth gatherings, children's clubs, creche, benevolent giving.

Human Health Activities

The object of the charity is to advance musical education by promoting and sponsoring musical events - such as concerts - in the Teignbridge, Torbay and Devon education districts.

Advancement of public knowledge of the history and evolution of the Devon General Omnibus and Touring Company Limited and preservation of surviving former Devon General vehicles

Supporting Scouting in Torbay to aid the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual development of young people so that they may take a constructive part in their local , national and international communities.

Exeter Science Centre is working to create a STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Medicine) Discovery Centre for people of all ages and backgrounds. In parallel, we develop and deliver educational activities, events and information media for schools and the general public, particularly related to global issues and STEAMM research and industry in the region.

To provide facilities and possible funding for a complete range of community activities.

The object of the Band is to advance the education of the public in the United Kingdome in the art and science of British Brass Band music through the provision of public band concerts and recitals, training in brass band music, and partaking in competitions in the furtherance of the musicianship of the band.

The Objects of the charitable company are to provide or facilitate the provision of accommodation, care and welfare or other related support services to persons with disabilities including permanent learning disabilities.

Jazz education and performance opportunities for young people in Devon.To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of jazz music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals

The objects of this CIO are for the benefit of the public:(1) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs (2) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind,(3) to advance education as the Trustees from time to time may think fit.

The prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit in Brixham and the surrounding area through the operation of a foodbank offering food and essential toiletries and household items to individuals and families in financial need.

Helping homeless people; soup runs; providing furniture to the needy; providing a place of worship; conference centre pastoral care; providing finances for Christian outreach to local schools; financial support to Seeway Trust (orphanage in Ghana).

SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT IN A PROGRESSIVE TRAINING SCHEME WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SCOUT MOVEMENT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN THE AGES OF 4 TO 25 YEARS OF AGE.

To relieve the needs of persons living with dementia and their carers by providing support, information and advice and by educating about or raising public awareness of dementia and how people live with it.All monies received, whether this be fundraising, gifts or donations goes back into the charities memory cafe and mp3 players. Everything is free to them that attend cafe or request player.

Torbay Recovery Information Project operates in the Torbay area.it provides a service to people in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions through the provision of support, advocacy and information. The group is peer led and provides a range of social and leisure activities that help promote and maintain recovery of individuals this includes darts, art and crafts and movie nights.

All requests for support sent to the Bishop of Exeter are considered and grants awarded to those who have a clear financial need for support or assistance to enable them to continue to contribute to the communities in which they serve.

We promote of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Torbay and the South Devon area by the provision of facilities for playing bowls.

Provide buildings, facilities and social activities for people over 50 years of age.

Sea Scouting activities to boys and girls between 6 - 18 years of age. Activities include sailing, canoeing, camping, hiking and other Scouting activities.The Group is RN recognised which allows members to visit and sleep aboard RN ships, when available. We provide training in a range of water based activities that gain members RYA certificates, and British Canoe Association certificates.
