Amatuer Football Club for Junior & Senior players

A uniformed youth organisation which provides education, training and rewarding leisure time activities which can increase the practical and personal skills of our young people to carry them through into adulthood and future employment. We are open to all young people aged 10 - 18 years throughout Newport City and outlying areas. We are part of the Marine Society and Sea Cadet Corps.

The Charity is a Parents Teachers Association supporting the Dell Primary School in Chepstow

To run a community centre and recreation field for the benefit of the inhabitants of Pentwyn by delivering community events and providing a space for local people to hire for their own social and business events.

We teach skills for life to young people in and around Pontnewydd in Cwmbran, Torfaen.These skills are taught via outdoor & adventurous activities such as camping, hiking etc.

The charity provides a village hall for use of the inhabitants of the parishes of Panteg and Llanfihangel Pontymoile residing on the eastern side of the Afon Llwyd without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. Used for meetings, lectures, classes and forms of recreation and leisure.

Mens Walk & Talk Group for men to improve their physical and mental health

The rescue and the preservation of life of persons injured or stranded underground and to assist other emergency services, including other cave rescue groups and mountain rescue teams.

MIXED PROGRAMME OF CHORAL MUSIC. EXCHANGE VISITS WITH HEIDENHEIM (GERMANY) EVERY THREE YEARS. CONCERTS ANNUALLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

Gwent Arts in Health (GARTH) promotes and develops an arts and health programme for the patients and general public in healthcare and community settings throughout the Gwent area. GARTH was founded to ensure that the benefits of creative programmes within healthcare settings could be developed across all hospitals and health facilities in the Gwent area.

Our projects aim to stimulate behavioural and attitudinal changes in disadvantaged children/young people 5 to 25 years old living in Islington at risk, vulnerable to negative peer pressure, NEET Activity: creative writing, drama, music, contemporary dance, street, creative cultural dance, drumming, informal counselling. Our classes run 1-2 days per week at St. Mary's Youth Centre in Islington.

As well as competing at both local and national levels in brass band competitions, we provide music for the local community together with music tuition for all ages especially disadvantaged youngsters as well as providing historical information to heritage groups, keeping alive the tradition of colliery bands. We provide concerts for other charities, veteran and senior citizen groups.

Supports Henllys Church in Wales School by fund-raising activities. Purchases equipment for the school and sponsors/subsidises events at the school.

The relief of sickness and preservation of health and in particular by:- the provision and promotion of cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac related healthcare within Wales. The education of the public in cardiac related health issues.

PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PERSONS TO WORSHIP AND TO MEET WITH OTHERS FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND FELLOWSHIP.

Fund raising events are carried out to fund equipment and resources to assist children in the Special Needs Resource Base at Overmonnow Primary School in Monmouth. Funds are raised through Silent Auctions, Bag2School, Table Top Sales. Donations are made by individuals, local businesses.

The community hall operates for the benefit of the community (user groups, meetings, dinner club parties, entertainment, childrens play group).

Cwmbran Baroque Singers present two major concerts in Cwmbran each year and perform at other venues in the area in support of local charities.

Activities are centred upon fundraising to support Gwent Music Support Service, Gwent Music groups and advance the musical education of students participating in these groups. This includes providing staffing for courses, musical equipment/scores and supporting student travel/accommodation especially at specific events & tours.

THE SALE AND SUPPLY OF BOOKS, COMPACT DISCS AND OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA WHICH HAVE CHRISTIAN THEMES AND PHILOSOPHIES. TO FURTHER SUPPLY CHRISTIAN LITERATURE AND ASSOCIATED MERCHANDISE TO CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of sports which promote physical health and fitness.

Fund raising by way of events, social events, raffles etc

We help people with Downs Syndrome and their families. We run informative events, provide support, advice and social activities, promoting awareness of Downs in Cardiff and SE Wales. Over 140 families have free membership and members with Downs help lead the group. We are financed solely from donations and fundraising.

The New Inn School PTA raises money through raffles, fete's, sponsored events and coffee mornings. All money raised is used to support the children in the school with better resources and equipment.

We provide education and training in the techniques of family history research. We encourage the conservation of documents and structures, which record details of social and family history. We sponsor and provide volunteers to undertake research into such documents and thereby act as an umbrella or resource body.
