Providing communities in underdeveloped and remote parts of Uganda with access to clean water.

Friends of Mengo are partners with Mengo Hospital, Kampala, Uganda Republic. Through donations, advice, visits, gifts and prayer, our partnership aims to extend our involvement with all those who are treated, work, or are trained at the hospital. Funds are raised from generous donors, largely in the UK, and allocation is decided through close communication between the committee and Mengo SLT.

To advance Christianity in the United Kingdom and Elsewhere.To relieve poverty and those who are in need because of sickness, age or some other reason.To advance education for the publict benefit both general and vocational for children or adults but always within the principles of the Christian faith.

The India Association committee is made up of some 300 professional businessmen and women from all walks of life, who use their expertise and contacts to help raise awareness and funds for worthy causes and other charitable organisations both in the UK and abroad.

The charity provides funds to schools, an orphanage, provision of spring wells and training costs for evangelism.The help given is both practical and medical and also provides families with a better standard of living and health and hygiene.

Funding educational projects and sponsoring students to enable them to attend school

Small Steps Foundation support, educate and promote the inclusion of young children with learning disability in Uganda.We run a special educational needs class within a mainstream nursery which allows the children access to education they have previously been denied and encourages early intervention and inclusion. We also run outreach and after school coaching for SEN children.

To relieve need among orphaned and disadvantaged children, widows and others in need as identified by the charity, in particular but not exclusively be the provision of accommodation, food, clothing education and other items, facilities and services as determined by the charity.

FIACD raises funds and provides grants for community development activities in disadvantaged communities, particularly in Uganda. It sponsors education of individuals, a sustainable year-round clean water source, health and sanitation education workshops and a nursery and primary school. Potential future activities may include primary health care and support for the local church.

The charity is established for the benefit of Africans in the UK and abroad by advancing education & training, relieving poverty, recreational activities, overseas aid and famine relief, arts & culture.

The advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of the public, in accordance with the Rule of the Third Order, Society of Saint Francis (comprising The Principles; The Constitution; and the forms of Profession and Renewal), in particular but not exclusively by supporting the Third Order, Society of Saint Francis and making grants.

The charity seeks to reduce poverty through better use of development funding, based on high quality information for decision making, generated locally at low cost. Its goal is to make knowledge of local economies the starting point for development.

To advance education and to relieve need in Mifumi Village, Tororo District, Eastern Uganda, by the provision of a school, a medical centre, and in such other charitable ways as the Trustees may determine, and to advance the education of children and young persons nationally and internationally, in particular on issues of health and domestic violence.

TRACKS is a community initiative dedicated to the development of individuals and communities through empowerment, education, skills acquisition and creating awareness. We aim to build collaboration in communities to enable them partner together to solve social problems. We work to scale up the capacity of disadvantaged individuals and minority ethnic groups to help them integrate with society.

It is unable to fund gap-year projects for people from the UK).The Charity's funds are fully committed and it is currently unable to accept new requests for funding.

KUJALI is currently gathering information for various support projects in Africa.

The charity is currently involved in social programmes for young people in Cheshunt & Waltham Cross (Hertfordshire). It also runs leadership training programmes for church leaders both in UK and overseas, and especially in East Africa and Nigeria under the Grace Bible Training Centre programmes. The charity also assists with poverty relief for orphans and widows in East Africa.
