Charities In Uganda

Children First Uganda (CFU) raises funds and provides expertise to help the Ugandan NGO CALM Africa, which helps vulnerable and needy Ugandan children and others in need. CFU supports work in the capital Kampala with street-children and in the Rakai, Lyantonde and Wasiko districts helps rural children living in child-headed households. CFU also supports schools established by CALM Africa.

Sounds of Life Trust is a Christian organisation, taking the good news of the kingdom of God to many people worldwide, by various ways, including preaching, crusades, children's outreaches, leadership training and the social gospel, bringing water and medical help to impoverished people, supporting orphanages and old folk's homes etc. To new Christians, we supply follow-up teaching materials.

Operation Hope focuses on the advancement of the Christian religion and the relief of poverty. Main activities include evangelism and teaching events, as well as the setting up of projects to help those most in need. Currently it operates in both the UK and Kenya.

Providing assistance to those in need is one of our goals, as we believe that everyone should have equal access to opportunities and resources. The primary activities are: It includes supplying food, educational support, providing animal welfare, transferring skills, promoting health, and supporting faith-based activities.

We empower communities in south-western Uganda to improve the standard of living of all members of the community by providing funding, training and support for appropriate sustainable community projects involving education, training and healthcare.

The object of the CIO is to advance education, relieve sickness and poverty, and to otherwise provide for the charitable needs of orphans at St. Paul KAASO Primary School in Uganda, in particular by providing grants, items and services.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES FOR NEEDY PERSONS

The objects of the Richard Feilden Foundation are:(i) To encourage and support educational projects in Africa, and especially those requiring architectural input. (ii) Without prejudice to the generality of the above, to promote community involvement, and the use of African expertise and technologies in Africa educational and architectural development.

We bring the message of the gospel the light of Hope through the preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ -using media platforms. We hold seminars and feeding programs in various nations we travel. Our focus is primarly in Africa but not limited. We conduct Christian outreaches to and in communities with in the U.K and Europe. We have been feeding the hungry and ministering to the homless.

OPERATE MAINLY IN INDIA.EDUCATION BY PROVIDING BOOKS,COMPUTERS,DESKS,BENCHES ETC.HEALTH:PROVIDING WHEELCHAIRS, LAUNCHED A PROJECT CALLED "FREEDOM FOR GIRLS".PROVIDING MEDICAL AND BABY KITS.PROVIDING SEWING MACHINES TO POOR GIRLS TO LEARN SEWING IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THEIR LIVELIHOOD.MEDICAL CAMPS FOR CHILDREN IN VILLAGES WHERE NORMAL MEDICAL CARE IS NOT AVAILABLE.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS AND DONATIONS FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THAT ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

We organise a variety of events, some of which are annual such as the Christmas Sleigh, in conjunction with other one off events to raise funds for local, national and international charities and causes.

Pro-Seed Prosperity through sustainable education and employment generation is a small charitable trust run by a team of volunteer trustees. Pro-Seed assists small volunteer run charities and NGOs. Pro-Seed focuses on educational and employment generation projects in East Africa and Colombia. It also considers humanitarian aid as well as charitable projects promoted by the Trustees.

Kwizera works with orphans and other vulnerable children in the Kigezi area of south west Uganda. Sponsors are recruited in the UK to pay for the children's school/college fees and other school necessities, and to support the children's carers if they are very poor. Money is also raised to pay for repairs to (and occasionally a complete rebuild of) the family homes of the sponsored children.

Give me hope Africa Wales (GMHAW) works in partnership with Kugana Charity (previously named Give me hope Africa). We provide the funds for our partners to deliver education and training programmes to individuals and families. We are currently in the process of equipping a medical centre and continue to work with the community on a variety of projects to create a more sustainable future.

Enable persons from the Diocese of Winchester to visit the Churches of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC for the advancement of religion or other charitable work of those. Assist persons from those Churches with travelling or other expenses to visit the Diocese of Winchester. Provide funds for such other charitable purposes as the Bishop of Winchester may decide.

1. GAN Scholarship Fund supports girls who have academic ability but who do not have school fees in Gayaza High School. 2. Fundraising through networking amongst Gayaza Alumnae3. Education of Girls in Uganda - support schools with bore holes for water, solar power, computer technology, school buildings.

African Conservation Foundation (ACF) is working to preserve Africa 's wild heritage by conducting field projects as well as supporting and linking conservation initiatives throughout the continent.

Grants for projects to support to people with disability in Northern Uganda by providing vocational training and business mentoring for small businesses.

Fundraising for the relief of poverty, hardship and distress among children in developing countries throughout the world.
