The trust income is paid to the Sir Thomas Mansel Franklen Trust which provides special benefits over and above that provided by the Local Education Authority to Cowbridge Comprehensive School and may provide grants to pupils and former pupils. Trust land remaining is held to be used for the purposes of the School.

Provide affordable childcare to the local community for children ages 2 years and 4 months to 5 years old. The playgroup gives children the opportunity to learn through play, socialise with other children and help parents by supporting childcare needs alongside our local school. To also provide breakfast care for those up to the age of 7 years inclusive.

The church runs: weekly Sunday worship and Family services for all ages; mid week prayer and bible teaching meetings; weekday clubs for local children of different age groups including youth; a weekly carers and toddlers group; regular weekly coffee mornings and other events for adults; a community choir for adults; a childrens choir; the Oasis coffee shop and a weekly Foodbank.

Central Glamorgan Girlguiding is part of Girlguiding UK - Girls can do anything. Within Guiding through fun, adventure and as safe space girls discover their potential and develop skills for adulthood. Through numerous activities, teamwork, leadership, and discussions. A SANCTUARY FOR OUR RESIDENT DOMESTIC AND FERAL CATS (WHICH ARE UNSUITABLE FOR REHOMING), FOR THE REST OF THEIR NATURAL LIVES.HELPING TO CONTROL THE FERAL CAT POPULATION BY NEUTERING AND ALSO PROVIDING VETERINARY TREATMENT.HELPING WITH THE NEUTERING OF DOMESTIC PET CATS, WHERE NO OTHER SUCH HELP IS AVAILABLE.EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE KEEPING OF DOMESTIC CATS.

Cowbridge Music Festival is an annual festival, held in September in the Vale of Glamorgan, of chamber, instrumental and vocal music, jazz and folk music. Providing opportunities for young musicians it includes an extensive schools outreach programme, concerts given by young musicians and the Chamber Music Seminar. The Festival Fringe was started in 2018 to give opportunities to local music groups

First call for income is the maintenance and repair of the tenor bell in Llanblethian Church. The remainder to provide income for the repair of Llanblethian and Ystradowen churches, and within the ancient parished of Llanblethian and Ystradowen provide grants for residents for (i) relief in need and (ii) advancement in life in assisting persons under the age of 25 years.
