Age UK Waltham Forest aims to improve the quality of life for older adults in Waltham Forest by providing direct services, campaigning for the rights of older people and participating in partnership working with statutory authorities and non-governmental organisations.

Practical training is carried on by daily routine at each house on a Christian basis. The charity undertakes evangelistic work on the streets and in centres. Remar Association (UK) operates a soup kitchen to assist vulnerable people in the Nottingham area. The charity sends humanitarian aid containers to other Remar organisations around the world to relieve suffering from poverty and addictions.

East London Dance is the leading producer of creative dance experiences for the people of east London and beyond. We produce inspirational projects and events to engage our diverse local communities in dance, and nurture the next generation of artists and professionals.

Our primary aim is the propagation of the Christian Faith, in all its ramifications. Apart from teaching the Word of God with the aim of building a people who have the fear of God in order to ensure a disciplined citizenry, we also embark on programes aimed at relief of poverty, famine and overseas aid. Beneficiaries of our activities are children/young people, elderly/old people.

We are a small group of Roman Catholic sisters, part of an international Congregation dedicated to education. Mostly elderly, we are involved in various ways in our local communities. We are a Church of England Church and Community Centre, offering a whole range of support to the local community. We do this through Sunday and mid-week services, a Baby Bank, a pre-school, a toddler group, a lunch club for older people and various family activities.
