The PCC of the Parish of Chingford has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent and his staff, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. Parkside Pre-school is a community group that caters for children aged two to four, and their families during school term times. We offer children the opportunity to learn through play in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in a modern purpose-built setting with a secure garden. Parkside Pre-school is run by a parent/carer management committee.

Provision of Weekly Church Services on Wednesdays and Sunday to minister to the physical, spiritual and material needs of the congregants.Focusing on the material needs of certain members undoing difficult financial situations.Provision of Pastoral care for congregants and other members of the community.

To record, document and preserve the peoples history of east and south east london, to provide educational activities and community history projects, to provide historical, social and cultural research

We provide a safe environment for children aged 2-4years. The children are able to learn and play in a mixed, social and multi-racial environment. We provide a setting that enable children to be stimulated in their development. We partner with the parents in developing the children's social and educational skills. Our activities are carried out in a bright and spacious church hall.

Our charity is involved in upholding the teachings of the Holy Bible. Hence we engage the general public in the study of the gospel that leads to salvation in accordance with the Bible. As a result of this, we help the needy, vulnerable, aged in the society and any genuine member of the society deserving of our support. We also respond to requests from victims of natural disasters internationally.

The Charity operates under the auspices of the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford in carrying out the following activites:*supporting Christian Mission through tithing its unrestricted income;*providing and operating a Christian place of worship and prayer;*providing a community resource in terms of spaces for hire and a concert venue*running a Food Hub and CAP Debt Centre

RYA Dinghy Sailing courses & taster sessions. BCU Canoeing & kayaking, Dragon boating, wobble boarding and traditional raft building for young people and adults. We are an RYA Training Centre. Sessions are run by volunteers who are RYA or BCU qualified Instructors who are assisted by our young ESSA Crew. Our 23 acre lake at Nazeing is suitable for beginners and intermediate participants.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS OLD BY DEVELOPING THEIR INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES AND UNDERSTANDING OF SUBJECTS OF EDUCATIONAL VALUE THROUGH ACCREDITED VOCATIONAL TRAINING, LIFE SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES.

To promote the preservation of mental health and to assist in relieving and rehabilitating persons suffering from mental disorder or conditions of emotional distress requiring advice or treatment. Assist such persons to realise their full potential to lead fulfilling lives in particular by the provision of services to assist such a person to obtain his or her full rights as a citizen.

The Charity provides early years childcare for children aged 2,3 & 4 years. The pre-school is open Monday to Friday term time. The pre-school is located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and provides a service within high populated diverse community. The pre-school is registered with Ofsted and the local authority. We have a strong working partnership with parents and local schools.

Religious activities, including weekly Sunday morning Eucharist in church and online (via both Facebook and YouTube), plus online weekday services via Facebook.Provision of spaces to hire for local individuals and groups.

We are a Church in Leyton called St Mary's Leyton. We are part of SAINT; a network of churches across East London. Our vision is to bring hope to the people of East London. We are part of a diverse, dynamic and fast-growing church network formed of multiple East London parishes. We have been commissioned as a resource church to serve young people, train diverse leaders and plant churches.

Education & training

The preservation of the Grade 2 listed Victorian pump house at Low Hall and its Marshall pumping engines and ancillary equipment; the creation and operation of a heritage museum on the site dedicated to the history of pumps and pumping, reciprocating steam engines, local transport, fire fighting and manufacturing in Walthamstow and the Lea Valley.

A place of worship advancing and educating people about religion, pastoral care, outreach, missionary, and evangelical care. Make external grants to other organisations via specific fundraising for giving to other charities. Provide buildings and facilities for concerts and community activities, e.g. classes and toddler groups.
