Haydock Male Voice Choir is a 60+ strong choir which sings to entertain audiences; support charities in fund raising & for the individual pleasure and education of its members. It operates from St. Helens within a 25 mile radius, but also to other destinations within the UK as well as occasional trips abroad.

The objectives of the charity are to promote the education of persons of the Christian Faith in theology and social sciences both theoretical and practical having regard to the principles of Josephine Butler

Running an annual gala and other activities to raise funds for the relief of hardship either generally or individually of people and organisations within a radius of ten miles measured in a straight line from Rainhill railway station.

Support for families who have lost loved ones to knife, gun and gang crime. Raising awareness of the impacts of violent crime through presentations and safety events. Citizenship through recreation-drama, music,dance and sport. Creating educational opportunities, working with partners to facilitate mentoring, employment and apprenticeships. Campaign for justice, championing the rights of victims.

Relief of poverty in the world. Supporting local charitable organisations. Grants to individuals to support specific projects.

The purpose of the charity is to advance the education of the public by providing and maintaining a heritage centre and museum for the exhibition to the public of objects,documents, photographs and other items connected with the history of Lymm, Cheshire and surrounding district.

Supporting charitable and community projects locally and internationally, including the relief of poverty, support for young people, community wellbeing and other charitable purposes.

The charity holds fundraising activities over the financial year, including, disco's, Fairs, cake sales, tombolas, raffles and auctions.

William's Gift supports children and their families in hospital by providing care packages. We currently cover Alder Hey and Royal Manchester Children's Hospitals and the Children's ward at Warrington General Hospital. We primarily but not exclusively support children with bowel related conditions. We have packages for long term patients and those on emergency admissions as well as bravery packs

Raises funds through specific annual events including Easter Duck Race, Bonfire Night and Beer Festival. Promotes the community and makes charitable grants to organisations and individuals.

Raising sustainable funds for children's charities in Northern England which aren't supported in the mainstream.

Burtonwood Scouts actively engages and supports young people between the ages of 4 and 14 in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

To encourage young children, through education and training, more awareness of the environment and conservation. Also to understand the importance of Team work.

The main activities are fund raising activities held throughout the academic year at the school, for the benefit of all pupils and parents. The funds raised from these events is used to advance the education of the pupils, by providing items, services or facilities that is not provided by any statutory authority. We also hold events to raise money for other good causes such as Macmillan.

The Workingmen's Mission provides facilities for Christian worship,education and associated social activities in the Bank Quay area of Warrington.

We promote and encourage the improvement, protection and preservation of the countryside within the County of Cheshire.

To aid in supporting and strengthening such Churches, Fellowships and Groups as may be connected with the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches; in endeavouring to establish new ones, and in extending the influence of religious teaching and practical religion throughout the District

The charity's object ('the object') is the advancement of education and in particular the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development.

Scout Group

Due to limited public transport many of our residents are unable to access the local services they need. To address these issues we set up the Burtonwood and Winwick Community Bus. Residents came together to provide a much needed transport service for the villagers, and we have have a minibus service that is open to all residents. We also tackle issues such as social isolation and loneliness.

General Charitable Activities

NWTCA plays an integral role in bringing the Turkish-British community together in the North West of England.Turkish lessons for children and adults.Turkish Community Choir. Celebrating National/Cultural festivals. Promoting Turkish arts, culture and heritage. Participating in Manchester Day Celebration, Gallipoli Commemoration Service, Sing Turkish Events, Women's Club, Children's Festival.

The museum will advance the education of the public with regard to the evolution of policing in the County of Cheshire from it's inception in 1857 to present day. This will be achieved by collecting, preserving and documenting material, evidence and associated information relevant to the Cheshire Police, and the earlier parts of County and Borough Forces which have amalgamated with it.

The charity organises events and run activities for the children within the school to raise funds for the School.
