Fundraising for school items outside LEA budget

The main activities are fund raising activities held throughout the academic year at the school, for the benefit of all pupils and parents. The funds raised from these events is used to advance the education of the pupils, by providing items, services or facilities that is not provided by any statutory authority. We also hold events to raise money for other good causes such as Macmillan.

We offer support for dogs living on the streets with homeless owners, dogs living in hostels with their owners, and dogs and owners who are accommodated with low level support. We provide dog food, dog coats, collars, leads, etc. But most importantly we provide free Vet care. We have Outreach Teams who take bags of items out to the dogs and owners, each week. We also provide Foster Care.

To carry out activities for the benefit of the pupils at Bradshaw CP School, and to raise funds inorder to fund such extra activities

Scout Group

The object of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Engaging in activities of providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Fund raising within the school community to provide additional equipment and resources for the children. The school has vastly improved it grounds and play equipment and continues to do so. We continue to develop the outside grounds and have developed our Wild Garden area to include an area of reflection, reading area and area for forest school activities. Promotion of free Saturday lunchtime recitals in the centre of Warrington.Organising biennial competition for young musicians under the age of 19. At present, our catchment area covers Cheshire, Merseyside and parts of Greater Manchester.

Educating children in Dutch/Flemish language and culture and acting as a centre of culture and community for Dutch/Flemish speakers in the North West

To raise additional funds for use of St Peters RC primary school and SS Peter & Michael RC Church for the benefit of the school children and parishioners.

Fundraising for primary school.

The Trust makes small grants to individuals in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool who are attending second chance learning through Further Education establishments, including ESOL programmes. Grants are for the books or equipment the individual needs for their educational courses or training programmes.

Grants given to member biannually to further knowledge/skills in their chosen area.Grants made where needed locally that benefit community

Operate Scout groups for young children aged 6 to 18 years, offering wide range of indoor and outdoor based activities.

Provision of additional resources for Great Sankey Primary School. This is achieved by running various fundraising events during the year. Any funds raised are then solely used to help provide additional resources for the school.

School PFA

The group consists of Scouts, Cubs and Beavers. We have a wide variety of children from all walks of life. As well as weekly sessions, we take our children on trips, camping and on many district scout activities.

Longbarn Residents Association activities are all carried out for the benefit of the residents of the Longbarn estate in Padgate, Warrington. They include: Afternoon Teas for the Elderly, Ukulele teaching sessions, regular meetings for members, Trips to Places of interest, etc (to be continued, RR 3 March 2019).

Our activities: is to elevate poverty: Africa, England and Wales To support children and young women against domestic violence, Orphans-care, education, food, clothes, & medical assistance. HIV/ AIDS sufferers. Health education in diet and nutrition. Management and leadership training. Nursery and primary school for children and the youth, Women and Girls Save-A-Life campaign.

Educational and recreational activities for children from age 6 in Beaver, Cub and Scout sections.

Warrington Street Pastors are identifiable, trained and vetted volunteers who patrol the streets during Friday and Saturday nights, supporting the night time economy in Warrington Town Centre. Carrying supplies of water, flip flops and available to offer free support and advice, they help reduce crime and provide care during busy periods in the town centre pub and night club locality.
