General Charitable Purposes

Re-launched in the summer of 2023, the aim of the Cotton Tree Children's Trust is to support orphaned and abandoned street children in Sierra Leone. This is done through education and empowerment, so that when children and young adults come of age, they can lead independent lives with real hope for the future and make a positive contribution to society. Sponsors are eagerly sought.

Twice weekly memory cafe to support dementia sufferers and their carers.

We are a group of volunteers who meet twice a month and conduct charitable acts within the community, fund raise through events for local and national charities and distribute accordingly. We also, as a local club but part of Lions Club International, support disaster and heath needs worldwide.

the relief of people with restricted mobility resulting from age, sickness, disability or other causes (whether of a temporary or permanent nature), either living in or visiting Leamington Spa and Warwick District by such means as the trustees see fit, generally the provision of mobility aids, with the aim of improving their mobility and conditions of life.

Scouting Activities

Long Itchington Educational Foundation is administered by Trustees appointed by Long Itchington Parish Council and Warwickshire County Council to assist young people of Long Itchington in their educational pursuits

The main activities of the organisation are to manage and maintain the Owen Street centre ensuring that the fabric and facilities of the building are safe and useable by; local arts groups(both adult and children) for rehearsal and performances to the local community, local charities and other organisations providing services to the local community.

The Charity meets John Kimbells original intent by: Giving a cash gift annually to widows and people of pensionable age in the parish.Giving one off payments to any resident going into hospital for more than 3 nights, and cash gifts to new babies and children as they start primary and secondary school. A delivery of a loaf of bread to each household in the Parish at new year.

Predominantly donations to other Masonic Charities and donations to charities within Coventry. Occasional donations to charities in Warwickshire, occasionally donations to national charities of particular interest to Members.

Small grants to meet special needs and to support education, training and the arts in the West Midlands.

Working with local residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort toadvance education, relieve poverty, promote good health and to provide facilities in the interests of socialwelfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for theresidents.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS IN FURTHERENCE OF THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES

Public services. Spiritual healing, demonstrations of mediumship, classes & workshops, development group, donations to other charities. Weddings and funerals. Objectives to spread in all directions the truth of life after death, of spirit communion of healing by the power of the holy spirit.

Grants made in accordance with the Trust's charitable objects.

ORGANISE EVENTS TO PROVIDE EXTRA FUNDING FOR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ETC

To provide financial support for projects focusing on improving the health, relief of poverty and the advancement of education of the people of the Tabora region of Tanzania and in particular the village of Uyogo.

School PTA raising funds in and around Dunchurch Junior School through various fundraising activities to provide the children with additional opportunities.

To operate a youth club for young people aged 11 to 16. from Shipston on Stour and the surrounding area. We currently employ 4 part time members of staff and have circa 200 young people registered as members. The club opens on 2 nights a week with an average attendance of 45. We work closely with Shipston High School and have the use of a building which is located on the High School site.

To promote maintenance, repair, preservation and improvement of the church. Promote education through the wider use of the church for cultural and heritage purposes. Educate people in history and heritage of the church.All the above for the public benefit.

TO TAKE ALL SUCH ACTIONS AS ARE WITHIN ITS POWER TO PRESERVE, CONSERVE, RESTORE, REPAIR AND BEAUTIFY THE FABRIC OF ST JAMES' CHURCH, CHURCH LANE, ALVESTON, STRATFORD ON AVON, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH AND OF THE WIDER COMMUNITY, IN PERPETUITY.
