St. Mary's is a vibrant local Anglican church in Purley on Thames, Reading. We have a heart for mission and service. Sunday worship is at the heart of who we are. We pre-school setting that care for children between the age of 2 -5 years. We are a well established and highly qualified team providing children initially with the social and emotional skills before moving on to the specific areas of learning when they are ready. The children learn these skills through play and adult led activities in the lovely spacious hall over looking linear park.

To empower and support those who have experienced domestic abuse by providing them with free, confidential family law legal advice. We strive to raise awareness of their legal rights and options so they can make informed choices about escaping the abuse and rebuilding their lives.

Streatley Hill Pre-school provides early years education for children age 2-5 years.

TVAW aims to rescue and rehome abandoned, illtreated and unwanted cats and kittens. Veterinary treatment is provided and all animals are neutered. The cats are cared for individually in foster homes until suitable homes are found. We also operate a lost and found register and a low cost neutering scheme. All of the work is carried out by volunteers and funded by donations.

The main activity of the charity is fundraising for the benefit of educational objectives.

The Object of the Church is, for the public benefit, to advance the Christian faith, advancing his Kingdom by means of public worship, Bible teaching, prayer, fellowship, partaking of the Lord?s supper and evangelism.The Church also desires to serve the local community in various ways with Youth and Children?s work and donates to various appropriate organisations

The Trust was set up to help extinguish Motor Neurone Disease (MND) for which there is no specific test or effective treatment. The goal for the MND gene-hunting programme is to discover all the genes responsible for causing MND. Once achieved drugs can be screened that can arrest and even reverse motor neurone degeneration. Funds raised by the trust will help to fund the gene-hunting initiative.

Wargrave Pre-School is dedicated to the philosophy of learning through play and encourages children to learn in an enjoyable and stimulating environment. Our curriculum is planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage as outlined by the Government's Department of Education.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE VINTAGE BUS RUNNING DAYS WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN EXPERIENCE BYGONE TRAVEL, RESTORATION OF HERITAGE VEHICLES, AND RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS.
