Playgroup provision for the West Berkshire Area

The Baby Bank collates together new and preloved items for families in need in the Berkshire and surrounding areas. Families are referred to us a variety of professionals who work in direct contact with the families.

The principal objective of the League is to help and benefit patients and medical staff at the West Berkshire Community Hospital. It seeks to meet its objective by funding the purchase of medical equipment for use within the West Berkshire Community Hospital and by Community Nursing. This equipment would not otherwise be available and the League selects equipment on the basis of merit and need

Berkshire County Sports Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of facilities for a range of sports. These include football and rugby pitches, cricket, tennis and squash courts, and an all-weather hockey/football pitch. The Trust was set up to help extinguish Motor Neurone Disease (MND) for which there is no specific test or effective treatment. The goal for the MND gene-hunting programme is to discover all the genes responsible for causing MND. Once achieved drugs can be screened that can arrest and even reverse motor neurone degeneration. Funds raised by the trust will help to fund the gene-hunting initiative.

We pre-school setting that care for children between the age of 2 -5 years. We are a well established and highly qualified team providing children initially with the social and emotional skills before moving on to the specific areas of learning when they are ready. Lifetimes gives grants to necessitous people who reside in London and the Home counties. We work in partnership with chosen charities in our field of work. Current survivors of domestic violence, disabled children, ex veterans, homelessness, food banks and community pantries, local hospitals.

Thatcham PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Team Rector and Team Vicar in promoting in Thatcham Parish the whole mission of the church - spiritual, pastoral, evangelistic and ecumenical. The PCC met four times in 2022.Services are held in St Mary's, the Parish Church and at St Barnabas which meets in Thatcham Park Church of England Primary School.
