The corps is a private, totally independent voluntary organisation maintained by private subscription and fund raising, started over 115 years ago. It gives and develops moral, mental and physical training to boys and girls 6.5-18 years old to develop character, moral strength, good manners, self respect and self control via a military style organisation and structure.

The role of the Cranford House School Parents Association is twofold: to raise funds for Cranford House School for "extras" and to run social events to bring the parent community together.

The Charity is an amateur wind-band. The objective of the Charity is (as recorded in the constitution) is to advance the education of the public in the art of music and in particular band music by the presentation of concerts to which members of the public have access.

The principal activity of the Association during the year was the provision of funds for specialist equipment for Bishopswood Special School.

Provides health care services and equipment for the use and benefit of the patients of Church Street Practice.

Provides lectures on arts related subjects. Organises visits to places of cultural and artistic interest, exhibitions etc. Participates in NADFAS supported activities in Young Arts, Heritage Volunteering and Church Recording.

Parish Hall available for hire

Applicants for grants are referred to the Charity by other local organisations, professionals and government agencies. Any need is considered by the Trustees at any time but the grant must be for the benefit of residents in the area of the Ancient Parish of Thatcham, Berkshire. i.e. The current areas of Thatcham, Greenham, Midgham and Cold Ash.

To apply its income, and with discretion, its capital to relieve clergy who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress, who are serving or have served in Buckinghamshire Archdeaconry of the Oxford Diocese, or the widows, widowers, children and orphans of such clergy, with a preference to those resident in the Buckinghamshire Archdeaconry

PROMOTE EDUCATION BY:THE PROVISION OF A BURSARY FUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDRENATTENDING HEATHFIELD SCHOOL ("THE SCHOOL") NOW OR ASIN FUTURE CONSTITUTED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE DAUGHTERSAND GRAND-DAUGHTERS OF FORMER PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL;THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSESCONNECTED WITH THE SCHOOL.

The charity provides trustees to run Brimpton Village Hall, to ensure it is fit for use for the community it serves, to encourage the community to use the hall, and to maintain the fabric of the building in a satisfactory condition. The hall is currently used by dance/exercise classes, upholstery group, disabled young adult group, WI, Cage Bird Society, Craft Group, Lacemaking group.

Charitable activities in accordance with the objects defined in the Trust Deed

The retiring director Sally Trench, has at the Trustees request, been researching possible projects in the UK and South Africa which support imaginative new initiatives of direct benefit to groups of children recovering from specific crises in their lives, with special emphasis on self-help schemes that the Trustees may wish to support when the sale proceeds of the property have been received.

The Friends of Woolhampton raise money through events. They often hold one main event each school term, forexample, a Christmas fair in the winter, a quiz in the spring, and a summer fair. Other PTA eventsinclude school uniform sales, raffles, cake sales, sponsored events and many more to raise money to enhance the educational experience of the children at Woolhampton Primary.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects.

The objectives of the CIO are:-To provide transport to the elderly and disabled residents in the West Berkshire villages of Burghfield, Mortimer, Sulhampstead, Padworth, Ufton Nervet, Wokefield & Beech Hill to:(a) Facilitate shopping trips(b) Enable attendance to local clubs(c) To attend medical appointments(d) To provide day trips

We provide bus services which are designed to provide the maximum benefit to those in need of them.The main beneficiaries are people who would otherwise not be able to access shops, the doctors surgery etc. These individuals' quality of life are enhanced by the reduction in isolation, ability to access shops and services, and improved health monitoring.

Raising funds to provide extra facilities and resources to Uplands Primary School

Manages a Village Hall for the purpose of the communities within the parish of Bucklebury. The Hall is available for hire to both individuals and group activities.

The only community space in Brightwalton. - for hire for regular, public and private hire. Currently home to many community groups and activities including annual fete in May.

To foster good, open relations and communications within the school community, between parents and school staff. To run a programme of events and activities throughout the year designed to: A: Promote the PTA's first aim; B: To provide additional funds for the school to purchase extra equipment, and C: Engage in activities and experiences to enrich the childrens opportunities at school.

Provision of transport for local people who are frail,elderly or handicapped and people who are unable to readily access public transport.

To advance the education of persons studying English as a Foreign Language in Oxford and its surrounding area by the provision of a single agency for the Cambridge Examinations in English as a Foreign Language

Weekly rehearsals of music, and regular performances.
