THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL BY DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF PARENTS & OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL, BY ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN ARE PTA & SUB-CTTEE MEETINGS TO ORGANISE FUND AND NON-FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR PARENTS TEACHERS AND PUPILS.

In Berkshire we provide organised user led trips to i.e. allotments, shopping trips, garden centres, creative arts, activities and workshops. Volunteers remain beside adults throughout both the journey and activity. Access to a hub drop in facility with kitchen to provide refreshments and meals and co - ordinated support services, including access to online learning and training facilities.

PROVIDES SERVICES TO ELDERLY PEOPLE

The principle objective of the trust is to assist poor residents of certain parishes in the following areas to start new careers in other countries:WoolwichShinfield and Spencer's Wood, BerkshireTenbury Wells, WorcestershireNortheast Herefordshire

(i) To promote, and encourage improvement in, agriculture and horticulture and the improvement, protection and preservation of the countryside of the Central Region of England;(ii) To advance education in agriculture and horticulture

Scout Association provide educational and fun activites as part of a balanced programme

To undertake voluntary work in education, health, social services and similar charitable activities amongst those persons in need. Our main activity is to provide and operate a community transport scheme for the elderly and disabled in our local area.

Provision of a venue for activities of various kinds in the community.

The Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) aims to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the traditions of the Royal Navy. Specific activities include all forms of boatwork, leadership and inter-personal development through teamwork, seamanship skills, engineering, catering and sports.

Charitable arm of the school

Provision of a Village Hall and playing fields for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the parishioners of Bishops Green, Ecchinswell, and Sydmonton.

Manages a Community Hall

Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority)

We are a choir of around 30 voices who perform two to three concerts a year in Newbury and the surrounding villages. Usually two of these concerts are with orchestra, the players of which are local and/or young musicians. The choir sings music of all periods from AD1500 to the present day. To encourage young musicians and audiences we offer them free or heavily reduced ticket prices

The charity advances the Education of members and the public in the barbershop style of 4-part harmony singing, through 1) weekly rehearsals for members, with coaching 2) Holding educational courses and open days for members of the public3) Competing in choral competitions4) Performing for the general public and private groups 5) Putting on shows

Promotion of Choral singing in the area of NE Hants and Surrey/Berks borders

We provide support for children in the Hungerford area up to the age of 5 years. This will typically be delivered through our association with the Hungerford Nursery School
