Raise Your Voice is a music project for vulnerable people living with dementia and their carers, based in the area around Lewes, East Sussex. Each session is run by two professional musicians, (singer and pianist). They are supported by a team of volunteers with a wealth of experience of working with vulnerable adults in social care, as well as in the legal profession.

PRESERVING, IMPROVING AND MAINTAINING THE ESSENTIAL ATMOSPHERE OF THE CUCKFIELD PARISH AND ITS SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE

To run an annual music festival in Petersfield in March, which consists of concerts by local choral societies and orchestras, celebrity concerts, recitals, and youth concerts for young singers and musicians from local schools. To run choral workshops and competitions for young composers. To assist young musicians by making financial awards towards their tuition or instruments.

Manhood Wildlife and Heritage care for various habitats across the Manhood Peninsula where wildlife can flourish. Some sites are home to rare species, others form a network of rich and diverse habitats, which are managed by local volunteers. Our activities include active environmental conservation projects, local history research, guided walks, publications, photography and newsletters.

Promote principles of good citizenship, encourage members to take an active interest in the civic, cultural and social welfare of the community. Provide a forum for discussion of matters of public interest, partisan politics and secular religion will not be debated by members. Worthing Samaritans aims to enable anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those that may be at risk of suicide, to receive confidential emotional support at any time of the day or night. We support people across the UK who contact us and we also work with the community and partners in the Worthing area to promote ways of improving emotional health.

The Forget Me Nots ensure no carer, loved one, friend or family member of someone living with dementia in Crawley and surrounding area would ever feel alone. We exist to provide friendship, help, advice and a hand to hold when needed.We meet twice a week offering lunch and supper, meaningful activities and support for carers within Govenment COVID guidelines.
