BHCFB collects non-perishable food from donors local to Burgess Hill via both regular and one-off collections, sorts it into categories and by date and distributes it, from premises in Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint in units of enough food for 2 people for 3 days, to people in poverty. Vouchers from accredited voluntary and statutory agencies are exchanged for appropriate units of food.

The charity is a pre-school which operates in the small rural Sussex village of Horsted Keynes. We offer affordable childcare weekday mornings and three afternoons for children in the age range 2 to 5 years. Our objectives are to enhance the development of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.

SFHG offers encouragement, help and advice to all. 4 meeting centres with monthly meetings at Brighton & Hove, Horsham, Uckfield, Worthing. SFHG library at Falmer nr Lewes. Website and magazine. THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED AS A PLAYSCHEME WITH A DIFFERENCE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS WHO HAVE AN EHCP AND ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 18 YEARS. IT HAS AN 'OPEN DOOR' POLICY WHEREBY NO CHILD, HOWEVER SERIOUS THEIR NEED, IS EVER REFUSED. THE CHARITY PROVIDES STIMULATING AND NEW EXPERIENCES FOR THE CHILDREN FOR THREE WEEKS IN THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS EACH YEAR.

CYCALL provides cycling equipment which has been adapted to meet the needs of adults and children living with a health issue or disability which prevents them from using a standard bike.

We run Woodchip group for 0 - 5 years, Elfin groups for 6 - 9 years, Pioneer groups for 10 - 12 years,Venturer groups for 13 -16 years, District Fellowship for 16 - 21 years. We organised number of camps at our campsite Woodcraft Park Farm, Lurgashall, West Sussex.

Organising workshops, competitions and such other educational and creative activities, working across the arts for all ages and all people.

The Club coaches and volunteers have provided paddling opportunities in a variety of different craft to the local communities and worked with other local clubs, scout and school groups enhancing skills and personal development and training on our local water and with trips and competitions across the country and acquired a 40 year lease at nominal rent for development of future facilities

Super Siblings is a charity that supports children who have siblings with additional needs. We provide Monthly session to help them meet and interact with other children in similar situations to themselves, to give them a form of respite and enable them to have fun in a safe and understanding space. During session we play group games and enjoy challenges,arts & crafts, baking and just socialising.

Amateur theatre company

Monthly meetings, trips and facilities for the elderly.

To establish and run a village hall and recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Burpham and to act for such other charitable purposes for the benefit of the Parish of Burpham as the Committee think fit.

Scouting & management of a community centre

Help children from financially challenged families up to the age seventeen through local schools in the Crawley, East Grinstead and Horley areas. By providing help with food, school uniforms, travel and assistance with school trips, to ease the stress and anxiety of children and to promote school as a positive place to be.

Look after and maintain six almshouses.
