Scout Group, current active sections are Squirrels 4-6 year old Beavers 6-8 years old Cubs 8-10 years old, Scouts 10-14.

The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.We operate in the Bognor Regis area of West Sussex.

SFHG offers encouragement, help and advice to all. 4 meeting centres with monthly meetings at Brighton & Hove, Horsham, Uckfield, Worthing. SFHG library at Falmer nr Lewes. Website and magazine. E-newsletter "Surelye", e-mailing list. Annual conference. Transcriptions, indexes, databases, CDs etc. from [email protected]. Bookstall at events.

THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED AS A PLAYSCHEME WITH A DIFFERENCE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS WHO HAVE AN EHCP AND ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 18 YEARS. IT HAS AN 'OPEN DOOR' POLICY WHEREBY NO CHILD, HOWEVER SERIOUS THEIR NEED, IS EVER REFUSED. THE CHARITY PROVIDES STIMULATING AND NEW EXPERIENCES FOR THE CHILDREN FOR THREE WEEKS IN THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS EACH YEAR.

CYCALL provides cycling equipment which has been adapted to meet the needs of adults and children living with a health issue or disability which prevents them from using a standard bike.

To manage and maintain the Village Hall for the use by its inhabitants of Rusper and District including a special facility for the elderly population of Rusper and the vicinity.

We run Woodchip group for 0 - 5 years, Elfin groups for 6 - 9 years, Pioneer groups for 10 - 12 years,Venturer groups for 13 -16 years, District Fellowship for 16 - 21 years. We organised number of camps at our campsite Woodcraft Park Farm, Lurgashall, West Sussex.

We are based in Hove and provide a meal on a bi-weekly basis for elderly and isolated people and also for adults with learning disabilities. Community transport is provided if required. Food is largely supplied by Fareshare which helps to tackle food waste. We also run healthy eating cooking clubs.

Church - Place of Worship and Community

Provision and maintenance of a public park for the enjoyment of the inhabitants of Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex district.

Celebration and promotion of the spoken and written word including readings, discussions, poetry, song, books, plays and creative arts. Holding an annual literary festival in the Adur District and surrounding areas. Attracting high profile, high quality input. Organising workshops, competitions and such other educational and creative activities, working across the arts for all ages and all people.

Visiting local schools to run assemblies, lunch clubs, after-school clubs and lessons; Community weekly and holiday clubs for children and young people; Outings and Family Fun Events; Community based family activities,

Fund Raising group of parents and friends of the school who run activities to raise funds for the school

The Object of Horsham Unitarians CIO shall be the promotion of religion in accordance with the principles of the General Assembly of Unitarian & Free Christian Churches, to promote a free and inquiring religion through the worship of God and the celebration of life; the service of humanity and respect for all creation; and the upholding of the liberal Christian tradition.

The Association is an unicorporated trust registered as a charity, a member of the National Kidney Federation and governed by a Constitution agreed by the Charity Commissioners.

SUPPORTING THE MINISTRIES OF CHURCHES IN THE DIOCESE OF SOUTHWARK

Providing grants of up to £1500 to non profit making groups and organisations.

BHCFB collects non-perishable food from donors local to Burgess Hill via both regular and one-off collections, sorts it into categories and by date and distributes it, from premises in Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint in units of enough food for 2 people for 3 days, to people in poverty. Vouchers from accredited voluntary and statutory agencies are exchanged for appropriate units of food.

We promote Bognor Regis local history by offering monthly meetings with talks on various subjects. We also offer slide shows and talks to local schools and adult groups, plus attend seasonal events with our own stall. Finally, the society operates a local history museum in the town, run entirely by the volunteer membership.
