The Society also is active in The Art's Society Young Arts programme with local schools and the award of prizes to young artists of merit

Promotion of the holy rosary as a means to bring peace and personal comfort to suffering people. Correspondence maintained supporting prisoners, the sick, the fearful. Shipments of donated aid and church items to assist diocesan schools and hospitals in the third world. Support of local homeless has increased to help with increased numbers.

Indoor sports activities, including football, badminton, dodgeball, basketball. hockey, handball, volleyball, sponge attack, stinger, tug of war and many more.Also in the club we have a full size snnooker table, pool table, table football, many table tennis tables, darts, big screen televsion.

The Empire Hall is a village hall for annual events (eg flower show/harvest supper/church Christmas fair/ Easter Market), village organisations (eg parish council, badminton, Lunch and Thursday Clubs) and weekly well being activities. Its stage hosts plays/films/concerts. It is bookable for parties, dances, meetings, classes and elections. It is an essential part of the fabric of the village.

Local sports for villagers and people from surrounding areas and playing/sports activities for local school and nursery.

The study and practice of choral music, in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. To assist and support such charitable institutions or purposes as the committee shall from time to time determine.

Climate Resilience Centre Worthing (CREW) has been set up to provide the space and infrastructure needed to connect people, gather resources and take action to create a better future for ourselves and our children. The centre is one of many across the UK working to improve mitigation and adaptation to the Climate and Ecological Emergency.

The Village Hall provides a meeting place for village organisations, and is available for hire to educational and recreational classes, and private parties and meetings.

Management of Chanctonbury District Guides including Ravenscroft Guide & Community Centre

Cadets have taken part in Drill, Sailing, Pulling (rowing), Power and Canoeing Competitions. Football, Adventure Training Expeditions, .22 Shooting. Courses offered to cadets are Seamanship, Mechanical Engineering, Cook Stewards, Writer Stores.Help in the community - collecting for the Poppy Appeal, raising funds for the unit.

Apply for grants and hire out the community centre to cover the running costs, to enable the facility to be available for the use of the community including the provision of a youth service.

The charitable purposes of The Bognor Regis U3A are to advance life long education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Bognor Regis and its surrounding locality.

We provide accommodation for Christian people at a reasonable rent. Along with this we provide help to the Baptist Chapel at Mayfield for the continued preaching of the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
