Explanation of the history of Plumbing and demonstration of historic Plumbing techniques.

The charity provides welfare and social facilities for the elderly and those living with physical and/or sensory impairment in our local community. This enables them to retain their independence and establish friendships, social contact and rehabilitation breaks.The charity is managed by the Trustees/committee who arrange weekly meetings providing lunch and entertainment throughout the year.

The Aim of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical,intellectual,social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.Through the provision of exciting,adventurous activities with progressive training based on The Scout Promise and Law guided by adult leadership.

Financial and practical support for Christian workers in Romania who help to relieve poverty and sickness in poor communities. Grants given to assist in purchasing winter fuel, food and house repairs for needy families.Grants to help initiate a Romanian project providing work for Romanians who would otherwise have no work. Profits from this returned to support the Romanian Christian ministry.

The objectives of the Society are to provide educational instruction and entertainment for Rustington and the local communities and to encourage participation and public appreciation in the dramatic arts.We present three main shows per year, run a Youth Theatre group and hold social events for our members on a regular basis.

The Friends of Bourne charity endeavours to carry out fund raising activities such as raffles and events along with applications to individuals for donations to extend curriculum resources.

The Jubilee Hall is for local organisations to hold various activities such as a Bridge Club, Old Tyme Dancing, Autumn Club, Play School, Art class, Line dancing Fitness classes etc.

The Trustees support charitable activities in which they have a personal interest and in some cases a direct involvement.

Worthing Choral Society aims to provide at least three public Choral concerts a year,. It also undertakes charity concerts for both local and national organistions each year. It supports local luncheon clubs for the elderly. Occasional choral trips abroad are also a feature of the choir. On request we provide small choirs for weddings and other more personal occasions.

The fundraising activities for 2022 include the Summer and Christmas Fairs; Fairies and Scaries event, the circus, sponsored walk, jog, run; Bag to school collections; cake sales and raffles; Easter egg hunts and second hand uniform sales. Funds have been spent on new forest school equipment, a theatre production and minibus lease,

Crawley Festival operates an annual community events programme and promotes and facilitates events by other community groups that make up the Festival programme.

To restore and maintain Oldland Windmill, which was built around 1700, and ceased to operate commercially in 1912. The Windmill has now been restored to full working order and is in regular use grinding flour for sale to raise funds, which help pay the costs of maintenance. The Mill is regularly open for the public to visit as well as for special events and educational visits.

Makes grants using income from trust fund:- (A) Principally to support Christ's Hospital pupils who otherwise would be unable to afford participation in cultural, career-development or sporting trips for which they have been selected and which would be beneficial; (B) Advancement of education in any other manner the trustees may think fit.
