THE HALL IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THOSE WHO RESIDE IN THE THREE VILLAGES OF SUTTON,BARLAVINGTON AND BIGNOR. IT IS ALSO AVALIABLE FOR HIRE BY PEOPLE LIVING OUTSIDE THE AREA.THE HALL IS USED BY GROUPS SUCH AS THE W.I.,PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR MEETINGS AND THE HALL'S COMMITTEE PUT ON VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE THREE VILLAGES.

GIRL LED PROJECTS, PROMOTING SELF ESTEEM, AWARENESS AND COMMUNITYDuring 2014 the District obtained funding from The Big Lottery Fund and Girlguiding West Sussex in order to carry out essential refurbishment to the outer cladding of the Guide HQ. The work was carried out and completed during January/February 2015.

Club meets every Thursday morning in an accessible hall in Chichester and offers recreational activities of speakers, slide shows, outings and games such as scrabble, cards and dominoes and social support network. We operate weekly groups for archery.Sailing takes place during the summer and we now have skiff rowing in the winter. We hold regular work parties for the sailing section during the winter when we prepare the fleet for the following season. Monthly social get togethers and various fund raising events through the year.

The Charity provides equestrian services to children and young adults with a mental or physical disability in West and East Sussex in order for them to gain therapeutic benefit and have the opportunity to achieve. The core purpose is to benefit the health and wellbeing of our riders and give them the opportunity to learn new skills, and achieve personal goals and ambitions.
