Sussex Search and Rescue is the primary volunteer resource used by Sussex Police in the search and rescue of vulnerable missing people. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and are fully approved by Sussex Police policy. SusSAR is staffed purely by volunteers, who as well as covering the whole of Sussex, can also be called out to assist other Search and Rescue groups throughout the UK.

To carry out fundraising which is to be used to enrich the education and wellbeing of the children at Handcross Primary School in West Sussex.

Provide health related support in the Parishes of Warningcamp, Burpham, Lyminster and Poling all in the county of West Sussex.

TO PROVIDE THE TRANSPORT NEEDS OF THOSE LIVING IN THE PARISHES OF WOTTON, ABINGER AND SHERE BY MEANS OF A COMMUNITY MINIBUS, NOT OTHERWISE MET BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHOPPING RECREATION ETC. THIS SERVICE IS OF PARTICULAR HELP FOR PEOPLE WHO BECAUSE OF AGE, DISABILITY, SICKNESS OR POVERTY NEED SUCH ASSISTANCE, AND FOR WHICH THERE IS A LACK OF ADEQUATE AND SAFE PUBLIC SERVICES.

We are a chamber orchestra who play classical music concerts with a particular emphasis on 20th century music. We also play works that are unjustly neglected to give the general public in East and West Sussex the opportunity to hear this music.

Provision and Maintenance of Village Hall

Financial assistance for the less well off in Lynchmere, Hammer and Camelsdale as well as providing grants to organisations located in that area where such organisations are perceived to be providing a service or help to the community.

Slinfold Concert Band regularly performs music at public concerts & community events, for example on bandstands in public parks & town centres, at fetes, for Remembrance Sunday & Christmas church services & at indoor concert venues.Slinfold Concert Band members meet weekly for rehearsals where they learn to play as an ensemble, improve their playing skills and develop their musical repertoire.

Provision of fund raising activities in order to provide donations to Jessie Younghusband School in accordance with the charities objectives

Encourages the protection, conservation and evolution of the Sussex garden heritage.

A museum with collections to show local history and events

Donations are limited to smaller charitable bodies known to the Settlor, who died on 26th January 2017. The function of the charity is under review.

The advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit including by the carrying on of the service of God in accordance with the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible as followed by those Christians forming part of the world-wide fellowship known as the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. Any other charitable purposes connected with Brethren.

To provide a wide programme of activities to enable girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society.

Organising competitions to encourage and support young musicians, at the commencement of their careers, who were born, resident, training or working in Kent, Sussex or Surrey and the London Postal District.

We bring Oromo people together, building stronger relationships within our community and with other communities across Brighton and Hove.We run a weekly Oromo Saturday School for Oromo refugee children and their families, community-wide community cultural celebrations, separate clubs for men and women, community meals and outings.

Brass Band which offers concerts and entertainment. We also train band members to improve their musical abilities and also run a training band with the prime objective to give musical training to youngsters and adults at no cost to themselves.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN IN FULL TIME EDUCATION

Arts4Kent raises funds to support national and local museums, galleries and art- and culture-related projects. It does this primarily by means of offering a programme of lectures, visits and other events to the general public. Surplus funds raised are granted to national and regional museums and galleries.

Raising funds to protect people and property in Pagham and district from the danger of flooding.

The aim of the 1st Harting Scout Group is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.At 1st Harting we have Beaver, Cub and Scout Sections.A local Forrest School make use of our Scout hut during the week.
