Charities In West Sussex

(i) To help with the conservation, repair, and improvement of the Parish Church of St. Andrew and St. Cuthman in Steyning to include the monuments, furnishings and fittings, stained glass, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyard.(ii) To promote the education of the public in the history of the Church.

FoRSA exists for the benefit of everyone at Rake School, raising money and awareness to support and enhance the school experience.

TO CARRY OUT ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE OBJECTIVES OF THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE GENERAL CONSTITUTION

We are a chamber orchestra who play classical music concerts with a particular emphasis on 20th century music. We also play works that are unjustly neglected to give the general public in East and West Sussex the opportunity to hear this music.

Fund raising by parents and friends of the school to purchase special equipment and towards school trips and special projects.

Raising money through various activites to be able to support Midhurst Primary School pupils development.

The Boundstone Chorus is a community music making group based in Lancing, West Sussex. It has weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings during local authority term times

Provision of grants to day care centres for the elderly in East & West Sussex and to other organisations that support the elderly in those areas.

Raising funds to support the school, alongside this social events are organised by this group.

WE HAVE A NUMBER OF INTEREST GROUPS WHICH ARE RUN BY MEMBERS AND THESE GROUPS HOLD MEETINGS ON A REGULAR BASIS.MEETINGS ARE HELD EITHER IN MEMBER'S HOMES (SMALL GROUPS), OR IN A VARIETY OF PUBLIC MEETING ROOMS/HALLS - GIVING ACCESS TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. GENERAL MEETINGS ARE HELD MONTHLY AT A LARGER VENUE AND GUEST SPEAKERS INVITED AT REASONABLE COST.

TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND PUBLIC DISSEMINATION OF THE CULTURE, RELIGION ART, LANGUAGE, LIFE AND DEATH IN ANCIENT EGYPT.

the Friends of St Mary's Petworth was established to help maintain the historic church as the community centre for music and the arts and other non-spiritual activities such as the Petworth Festival and Petworth Literary Festival. During 2013 we carried out a major project to update and improve the sound system. During 2015 we carried out a major project to improve the Nave lighting.

Restoration and upkeep of St Nicolas Church and to further the work of the Church

Monies to be used for such charitable religious purposes to benefit the people of the parish of Wisborough Green in West Sussex; for the relief of the elderly and sick of the parish of Wisborough Green; to augment the stipend of the Vicar of the parish of Wisborough Green to ensure his personal concern in his office of Incumbent for the welfare of the people of the said parish.

Provides buildings/facilities/open space for sport/recreation, all for the public benefit.

Fundraising for Educational Equipment and Activities

The Trust's income has been applied in supporting variouscharitable causes. The principal beneficiaries being theMedical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture,Church Mission Society, The Church Armyand UNICEF.

Provides a chiropody service to old people in the village.

Recreation ground, children's play area and multiuse games area

The Wiston Meeting Place Trustees manage a community building and open space. The facility is hired to local residents, local clubs, community groups and organisations and for private events.
