Being affiliated to the Civic Trust, we promote good design and development of the built and other environment in the historic town of Shoreham-by-Sea. We hold monthly meetings with speakers for all members, fund raising events, and regular discussions with Adur Council on planning and development matters.

We are a locally based Association interested in the craft of bee-keeping. We train new & improving beekeepers in the wellbeing of bees & the production of quality hive products & promote the importance of bees & the conservation of bee-forage plants to the public. We meet regularly, attend country shows, collect swarms when necessary and aid pollination in our farming community.

The society provides support to deaf children and their families; organising an annual programme of social events, campaigning for deaf awareness, and providing essential information and support to member families in the Brighton, Hove and West Sussex area.
