To relieve the suffering of stray & unwanted animals, ie: rabbits & guinea pigs in need of care and attention, to provide veterinary treatment & neuter animals where appropriate.To provide & maintian an animal shelter & other facilities for the reception & care of stray/unwanted animals & to re-home or foster where appropriate.To educate the public in all aspects of animal care & welfare.

The Pulborough Society was formed in 1972 and is a non-political, non profit-making organisation whose aim is to promote public interest and engagement in the local area. The Society works in partnership with other local groups which share similar objectives.

Various activities including fund raising, camping, community and environmental to increase awareness and skills of beavers, cubs, scouts etc

The Fernhurst Archives handles numerous enquiries,many requiring extensive research by the archivists; has published notelets; held exhibitions; oral history recordings; Researching non-listed but 'interesting'houses; recording and listing graves; collecting 'Facts on Fernhurst' for publication. Our programme of walks and talks continue to create interest for our membership.

The Advancement of the Evangelical Faith in the United Kingdom

Raising funds by selling Nepali products purchased directly from cooperatives of disadvantaged women in Nepal; organising musical and other events in southern England. Developing links between English and Nepali schools, seeking donors and those who can support the work of Ashraya Nepal, particularly volunteers who are prepared to travel and offer their services.

The relief of persons who have suffered a stroke; by holding regular weekly meetings for members and providing entertainment, therapy (speech, games, art, craft and exercise), social enjoyment, celebratory events, outings and excursions; also holiday vacation assistance and carer relief in special circumstances.

Patient Participation Group ( PPG ) for Henfield Medical Practice

Support friendship & social activities suitable for members of the older generation eg monthly lunch at a economical rate. This Club has been closed for more than a year, due to lack of members and COVID. We are unable to provide any accounts because the Santander A/c is frozen, the Treasurer died during shutdown. the a/c wasn't used, so the bankclosed it down and will not reopen it.

Grants are made for the benefit of the poor of the area of the ancient parish of Lancing to relieve sickness, infirmity or distress.

We continue to raise funds principally by selling or recycling donated pre-owned books, DVDs, CDs and LPs. Our charitable work is concentrated mainly on local projects but we also support a limited number of international charities, some of which are organised by Lions Club International and some by our own contacts.

The Charity gives grants to help young people, disabled & able bodied.

The touring of nostalgic drama and entertainment to residential & nursing homes, day centres, sheltered accommodation, hospices,village halls, and theatres. The programme encourages participation by an elderly and infirm audience base. An outreach programme serving primary and secondary schools & colleges.Further outreach work with visually impaired people using drama as an empowering tool.

The society works to preserve and protect the history, heritage and environment of the village of East Preston (West Sussex) and the surrounding area.

Funding sports coaching for young people between 5 - 23 years in age who have special needs.
