The conservation of Small Dole Woods in West Sussex. The volunteers manage the wood by perpetuating the coppicing cycle. Volunteers on work parties are given trining in the activities.The charity also promotes concepts of traditional coppice woodland management and skills associated with green woodwork.Environmental issues and education are important parts of our activity.

We are an independent, voluntary, non profit charity that supports The Spires Cleft Centre at Salisbury District Hospital and The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and the patients and their families who are treated there. The Ford to Hunston Canal Society seeks to promote for the benefit of the public the improvement and maintenance of the heritage of the Ford to Hunston section of the Portsmouth & Arundel Canal, in the Chichester and Arun Districts of West Sussex, as well as advancing the education of the public in these areas on history and architecture of the Canal.

We run a weekly drop in centre to support adults of all ages who have or have had mental health problems. We provide tea, coffee, various chocolate biscuits or just a friendly face for a chat, plus games, such as cards and Scrabble, and craftwork. Organised social activities are arranged monthly.
