Charlie's Challenge raises funds for research into children's brain tumours

The Charity supports Haslemere Community First Responders, by providing equipment for them to use, to assist members of the local public in medical emergency situations. We also help with the provision of public access defibrillators in our communities.

We hold various fund-raising events through-out the school year. We support other school events by supplying refreshments etc

Raising awareness, providing arts and crafts packs for children's oncology wards, To offer 'fresh air days' by providing children's oncology wards with tickets to local amenities for the use of families affected by childhood cancer.

Fundraising to enable sporting activity in the village

The Association strives to provide high quality services to physically disabled people in Surrey, their families, professionals and others concerned with disability by providing the following: self-catering holiday chalet and bungalows, disability equipment showroom, mail order catalogue and equipment loan.

The charity's main current activity is through its MAVES Committee (Mid Arun Valley Environmental Survey). MAVES commissions and carries out: ecological research; practical projects for conservation enhancement and enjoyment of the natural environment; educational talks and walks and community engagement projects.

Grants to members of Quaker meetings who are undertaking futher education or training to equip them for work.
