Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children's Society provides support for deaf children and their families in the Wigan borough and surrounding areas. We provide regular activities for deaf children to make friends, share experiences and build self confidence. We provide a local source of support and advice for parents of newly diagnosed deaf children.

The charity facilitates access for the disadvantaged to services provided by other charitable organisations and volunteer groups and providing access to quality facilities, including a co-working space.

The Charity distributes money to organisations that fall within its ethos.

We are Bethel Independent Methodist Church, Victoria St, Wigan WN5 9BL. Our principal object is the advancement of the Christian Faith in accordance with the Faith & practice of the Independent Methodist Connexion. The church also carries out other charitable purposes. Worshipers from other Christian Faiths are welcome and are generally attracted by our less formal and friendly services.

Haydock Male Voice Choir is a 60+ strong choir which sings to entertain audiences; support charities in fund raising & for the individual pleasure and education of its members. It operates from St. Helens within a 25 mile radius, but also to other destinations within the UK as well as occasional trips abroad.

Leeds Male Voice Choir's key objectives are to advance public education and the understanding and appreciation of the arts and science of men's choral singing, through a series of annual concerts, events and public performances.

Provision of music education by concerts, contests and rehearsal.

Bolton Smiley Faces provide monthly support group meetings with activities to support children who have Downs Syndrome living in Bolton and the surrounding areas to include speech therapy, art therapy, signalong, activities to support development of fine and gross motor skills. We also provide family activities during school holidays.

The aims of the group are To advance the protection and conservation of bats, their roosts, feeding areas, hibernacula and surrounding environment in South Lancashire and neighbouring counties.To educate the public and the group's members in all matters related to bats, including the production of literature and dissemination of the useful results of research data

GMESS aims to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions in Greater Manchester through the provision of support, education and practical advice.Also to advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions.

MEEN supports teachers, organisations & individuals working to promote Education for Sustainable Development. To achieve this we offer opportunities to share good practice & network, run training events & INSET, provide a directory & newsletter.

We deliver free English and computer classes to people who cannot access statutory education. We support people to be part of their community, reduce isolation, increase participation through various enjoyable activities and encourage socializing. We support people with form filling, life skills, housing issues, interpretation services and advocacy as well as signposting them to the right services
