St Wilfrid's Standish Church has several important activities that are central to it's main purposes; faith being the central activity with regular services, being a central hub for the Parish, as well as our Parish Hall which is an important meeting place in the community for faith groups, children's activities as well as catering for any other groups.

Camps, Trips, Humanitarian Grants, workshops, advocacy, campaigns to energise and develop the community

We accept financial donations via our just giving website. We buy all the presents via Toy Wholesalers. We raise awareness via social media & our web site. We work with social workers, drop in centres and schools to identify children in need of our help. All year we create Christmas sacks & and distribute the toy sacks in December, in time for Christmas.

The object of the charity is to provide in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area for the care and protection of animals of all kinds in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances, ill usage and other similar causes and to prevent thereby cruelty to and suffering among animals.

Goods For Good sends goods donated by UK and European businesses and individuals to vulnerable communities living around the world. The charity also works with vulnerable communities in the UK, such as refugees and asylum seekers. In four years of operation, we have helped over two million people in desperate need, delivering £20.5m worth of goods to 24 countries worldwide.

Community Little Hulton's mission is to inspire todays youth and to bring the community together to enhance everybody's wellbeing. We are currently working on a number of projects to develop Peel Park Little Hulton in Salford and to develop and sustain the local Youth Unity youth sessions . We provide virtual community hub services to support the community and well being activities for all ages.

The objectives of the Antioch Network are to develop and sustain Christian Mission to support and strengthen the work and ministry of the Church of England in the Diocese of Manchester, by planting small churches in areas of social and economic deprivation and multicultural diversity. Belmont Community Housing, BCH, is a family funded charity with the objective of sponsoring or partly funding the building of new homes for people / families unable to secure a decent place of their own.Presently we are working in partnership with the charity, Housing People Building Communities, HPBC. Their site at St; Williams in Ince, Wigan, is now complete & BCH has sponsored 3 homes.
