Promote a culture of welcome, inclusion and support for everyone in Swindon with a focus on those seeking sanctuary.We do this by bringing people and organisations in our community together, providing practical support through projects, running community events, raising awareness and campaigning for social justice, therefore contributing to the wider, national movement that is City of Sanctuary.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) is privileged to be able to support many young people to develop as individuals and achieve their ambitions in life. The young achievers who attain awards are selected for their demonstration of the Foundation's key values: courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness in adversity.

Provision of theatre-based drama, educational and participation-based activities. Studio Theatre aims to provide high-quality drama facilities to the local community and facilities to local drama groups and businesses.

Benefiting the people of the Swindon area by preserving the built heritage (of particular historical, architectural or constructional interest); by developing and operating facilities for the education, recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare; and providing activities supportive of community development, and of regeneration and renewal.

To maintain Wootton Bassett Memorial Hall for the use of inhabitants of Wootton Bassett and surrounding neighbourhoods for use for meetings, lectures, celebrations, classes and recreation.

For the benefit of the community the business of:a) providing houses or hostels and any associated amenities for persons in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means.b) providing for persons suffering from drug and/or alcohol abuse or otherwise suffering from breakdowns in interpersonal relationships Christian based values, service training and other resources.

Provides the public with opportunities for the appreciation, enjoyment and understanding of Literature and the Arts.

The WNCT (known also as the Smile4Rich Appeal or Smile4Wessex) aims to improve the range and quality of patient care at the Wessex Neurological Centre by raising funds to provide new equipment and facilities that would not otherwise be available, and by sponsoring pioneering research into new treatments for a variety of neurological conditions. The advancement of religion for the salvation of all who believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and for the benefit of society in general, both locally and in the wider world.

To further or benefit the inhabitants of the Wiltshire County and Borough of Swindon and their environs, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities

Locally: Organisations and charities in the Oxford region, specifically healthcare, relief of suffering and hardship, help for the disadvantaged; nationally, medical research and higher education, medical health/sickness organisations; internationally, the relief of disasters.

Trowbridge Area Community Link Scheme is a team of Volunteers, who help the community by offering care and transport to people in need.

To advance the education of the public by the establishment and maintenance of a museum and associated artefacts relating to the history of Amesbury and the surrounding area

Provision of care and services for adults with Learning Disabilities. Current services are a Training Lunch Club, where trainees with LD learn catering skills, Woodwork and Gardening Day Services for adults with LD. Emphasis on giving trainees an opportunity to do something constructive and positive for others. Aspiration to provide supported community style living for adults with LD.

Supporting members of the Household Cavalry Regiment in sport, adventure training and welfare.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.By providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

The Calne Link Scheme is a totally voluntary organisation that provides help in the form of care and transport for those in the local community who need it. People who through age or infirmity are unable to access hospitals, doctors surgeries or shops by their own means or by public transport are driven by the link scheme which also carries out shopping and provides companionship.
