General Charitable Activities: We operate in the Devizes area, raising money from the public by organising fund raising events where we collect money in a variety of ways. Most of this income is dispersed to local charities, needy people and good causes, carefully vetted by our Welfare Committee. A small proportion goes to Lions National and International for humanitarian and relief projects.

Scouting takes place when young people, in partnership with adults, work together based on the values of Scouting and:1. enjoy what they are doing and have fun,2. take part in activities indoors and outdoors.3. learn by doing.4. share in spiritual reflection.5. take responsibility and make choices.

The charity aims to educate the public in the arts and science of music by performing choral concerts of high standard with soloists of national standing. It is a mixed choir of about 144 voices and performs major works from the choral scene, from traditional classical to modern. Most of its concerts are in Salisbury Cathedral but occasionally it combines with other choirs and performs abroad

Arranges annual festivals of English Cathedral Music with four to five days of services and concerts based around the daily liturgy, based alternately in Chichester, Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals.

We provide theraputic horse riding for Adults and Children with physical or learning disabilities, including all autistic spectrum disorders. Horse riding provides opportunities for improved physical and mental well being through therapy, enjoyment, skill development and achievement. Saxon RDA specialises in riding, dressage, show jumping and endurance activities and is completely volunteer-run.

Bath Opera members live within travelling distance to the city of Bath and wish to sing in opera or help put on operatic productions. The amateur society puts on a fully staged production at the end of February and a smaller scale opera on a summer tour in June and July. The Bradford on Avon Christian Fellowship runs a programme of activities to advance the Christian Faith and the worship of God throughout the week but principally centred on the Sunday morning meeting to which members and non-members are welcome. The programme caters for all age groups with special arrangements for children and teenagers.

Provides a facility for local residents in MInety and the surrounding areas to pursue varied interests at a communal level in easy to access and comfortable surroundings.

Provision of community hall for local residents' use and private hirings.

The provision of almshouse accomodation to benefit persons over the age of 50 who are in financial hardship.

THE ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 8 -18 YEARS HOW TO SAIL FOR OVER 50 YEARS. WE OPERATE THREE EVENINGS A WEEK FOR A 26 WEEK SEASON. EACH EVENING YOUNG SAILORS TAKE TO THE WATER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A RYA SENIOR INSTRUCTOR AND A TEAM OF HIGHLY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS. TEACHING CONSISTS OF WATER TUITION AND CLASSROOM WORK. SAILING IS FUN!

NB4U befriend 'lifer' Prisoners in local prisons. The Co-Founders and volunteers visit 10 prisoners every month We accompany them on ROTL's and Home Leaves. We attend Parole Hearings and on release meet them 'at the gate' and take them to their Hostels providing essential items. Our motto is 'Befriending Prisoners, mentoring Ex-Offenders so they NEVER re-offend again' and it works!

Running a village hall and recreation ground promoting for the benefit of the inhabitants of Kington Langley facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities.

To educate the public by promoting, fostering interest in, exploration, research and publication on the archaeology, art, history and natural history of Wiltshire for the public benefit and to make donations and grants in furtherance of these objects.
