The charity's activities include assisting schools within the diocese to develop and maintain the distinctive Christian nature of church schools. We support schools and governors in all aspects of their responsibilities and also work in close strategic partnership with local authorities to influence school organisation and raise standards and achievements. We are developing Christian outreach.

The principal activity is to assist with the provision of education for boys and girls in Wiltshire, primarily through St Francis School, Pewsey. St Francis provides a level of benefit to its pupils but also to the general public. It provides an all round independent education with access to its education available to children from less affluent backgrounds, under its community bursary program.

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY OF THE CHARITY IS THAT OF RUNNING AND ADMINISTRATION OF LEEHURST SWAN SCHOOL

Empire Fighting Chance (EFC) helps young people who are failing at school, in danger of drifting into a life of unemployment or even crime, and helps them turn their lives around. We run intensive mentoring and personal development programmes alongside a physcial activity. EFC perform remedial work on numeracy and literacy,preparation for employment courses,sports and mentoring qualifications

The charity provides financial support for the Palliative Care Service based at Salisbury Hospice, and for the relief of suffering in cancer and other terminal illness and the promotion of related research. The aim of the charity is to contribute to the funding of a full range of palliative care services from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

Alzheimer's Support exists to improve quality of life for people with all types of dementia and family carers. Services include: Dementia Advisers, Home Support, Day Clubs, carers groups, Alzheimer Cafes, Music for the Mind, Movement for the Mind, art groups, a range of outdoor activities, training courses for carers and local information and support offices.

The Newbury Community Resource Centre Limited helps local people by providing furniture, household goods, training and services to support independent living. We help people to develop work and social skills, and encourage environmentally beneficial activities by promoting re-cycling and re-use.

Support for young people who are unemployed and @risk of unemployment with next steps to employment, education or training, particularly young people with anxiety and mental health needs, SEND YP (disabilities) with transitions working in partnerships with parent/carers

The charity aims to support the patients and staff of Salisbury District Hospital. There are numerous funds each with written objectives and Trustees ensure that expenditure complies with these objectives. The charity raises funds to purchase additional medical equipment and facilities, to support those provided by the NHS.

Salisbury museum collects, preserves and presents collections that illustrate Salisbury and South Wiltshires past (including archaeology of national status). It encourages learning, research, publication and enjoyment of those collections through services which include display, educaiton and events.

At the Jessie May Trust we provide a free Palliative Care Service for children and young people who are not expected to live beyond nineteen years. We work in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.Members of our experienced care team support each family at home with short periods of respite, advice, terminal nursing care and bereavement support.
