The friends of Saint Georges School fundraise for the school and organise social events providing links between parents, teachers, children and the local community.

The Village hall is the only public meeting place in Upton Lovell other than the public house. Situated close to the church it is used as a meeting place after services and as an overflow for christenings, weddings and funerals. Currently the Hall is the meeting place on a weekly basis for Craft groups, Yoga classes and some dance and childrens groups.

To rescue, and rehome abandoned, injured and homeless cats and kittens, within the Gloucestershire area. To trap, neuter and return feral cats. To provide information and advise the public on feline welfare.

The H L Matthews charitable trust was set up to support financially a minister of religion for Colerne Evangelical Church.

The Contact Centre provides facilities, where after an acrimonious breakdown in a relationship, the Children can visit the parent with whom they no longer reside in a safe and supported setting.

The Mens Shed, like many others around the country, is a place where (mostly) men can gather to make things for themselves and for the wider community and enjoy socialising with others. We currently have two sheds and three weekly sessions and a range of donated or purchased tools and machinery so that we can undertake sizeable team projects like benches for the town and bird boxes for the woods.

TO MAKE GRANTS OF AN EDUCATIONAL OR WELFARE NEED TO THE RESIDENTS OF BARFORD ST MARTIN

Supporting Hindon School with additional resources to broaden the children's educational experience such as trips, extra-curricular sports training and the after-school clubs. We also help the school with capital for non-essential equipment that we feel provides added value to the children. Fund raising events include fetes, fayres and bazaars, sponsored events, a story-telling evening among many.

We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Hardenhuish Educational Trust is a fundraising Charity that has the objective of raising funds which will then be gifted to Hardenhuish School to engage in activities which support the School and advance the education of pupils attending that School.
