We are a local charity providing help to those who are in need due to old age, ill-health disability, financial or other hardship. We provide: Food (weekly lunch club & lunch club delivery to the house-bound) ; Social integration (weekly coffee mornings in 2 villages) ; Transport and Household tasks. Advice.

Arts and Culture

To educate and entertain members of the general public in the Reading and surrounding area through the rehearsal and presentation of two musical productions a year (spring and autumn) at theatres in or near Reading.Each production usually runs for five performances with a total potential audience of just over 2000 for the week.

We help over 1000 young people in the Maidenhead and Windsor District enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.Working alongside our youth members are many adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available.

We care for old and needy people of both sexes in a Christian environment in their own almshouses.

We are a Male Voice Choir who learn music and song to enable us to sing in concerts to help raise monies for other charities. We have enjoyed singing in Italy, Spain, Austria, France, Germany and Belgium together with venues like Symphony Hall in Birmingham, St George's Chapel in Windsor and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE THROUGH MEDIATION FOR PARENTS OR COUPLES WHOSE RELATIONSHIPS APPEAR TO BE BREAKING DOWN AND WHERE SUCH RELATIONSHIPS HAVE ALREADY BROKEN DOWN. TO ADVISE AND HELP IN THE SETTLEMENT OF DIFFERENCES OR POTENTIAL DIFFERENCES OVER ASSOCIATED AREAS INCLUDING RESIDENCE, CONTACT TO CHILDREN AND FINANCIAL MATTERS.

Our main work is the rescue and care of abused or neglected equines, rehabilitating them to be the best they can be considering their aptitude/abilities. The aim is to rehome but this is not often possible due to old age or long-term physical issues which often renders them unsuitable for riding but some are suitable as companions. We offer young people opportunities to work with our animals.

To build a boat for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults to operate between Windsor and Oxford along the River Thames. The boat is primarily based at Henley on Thames and operates from the River & Rowing Museum.

BACC provides sanctuary for animals that cannot live in traditional domesticity due to behavioural or medical problems and animals that have been abandoned or mistreated. BACC focusses on educating the public on the management, behaviour and training of animals as well as managing their physical and mental wellbeing. BACC provides a safe space for people to connect with animals.

The object of the Charity is to use the Neville Hall for the purposes of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments, or otherwise as may be found expedient, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Waltham St Lawrence.

Religious and social services

Providing music therapy and expression through music, art and play for sick or disabled children and teenagers in hospital, school or wherever needed. To support sick or disabled children, young people and their families providing special requirements as necessary to alleviate the trauma, stress and suffering of the whole family unit.

To relieve children and adults with dyslexia and related conditions by providing treatment at our research clinics focusing on dyslexia and related conditions. To advance the education of the public by undertaking research into causes and treatments of dyslexia and related conditions, training personnel, and publishing the useful results of such research

The aims and objects of the Society shall be the study and practice of choral music in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance

We provide a Holiday Club environment during Easter and Summer school holidays for children with additional needs and disabilities between the ages of 3 and 19.We also provide an After School Club at Addington School, Woodley, Monday through Friday during Term Time.

FOOD 4 CHILDREN: OPERATES AS A WHOLLY INDEPENDENT ARM OF THE DORIS COWDRY FUND WITH THE CORE AIM OF PROVIDING FAMILIES IN NEED IN THE PARISH WITH WEEKLY FRESH FOOD DELIVERIES TO MAKE SURE THEIR CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS, HEALTHY FOOD.

The objects of the charity are to further the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice embodied in the Women's Institute movement in Berkshire and elsewhere. It is non-sectarian, non-party political and offers all women the opportunity to enjoy friendship, life-long learning, to widen their horizons and, together, influence local, national and international affairs.

The Rock Academy is a charitable organisation which provides young people the opportunity to learn, create and perform original music through instrument lessons, music technology courses, band coaching, live events. It also provides music educational support services for schools and community groups.

Rescuing and treating sick and injured swans and occasionally other waterfowl in the Thames Valley area.Training emergency services,Network rail,Highways Authority and other public services in handling swans. Educating the general public about swans and their environment.

Scouting Group servicing South Ascot, Sunninghill and surrounding area. We comprise a Beaver unit for ages 5-7. Cubs for ages 8 - 10, Scouts for ages 11 - 14 and Explorers for ages 14 - 18.The Group is based at the Scout Hut on Church Road in South Ascot. Beavers and Cubs on a Tuesday evening, Explorers on a Wednesday and Scouts on a Thursday.

TO ENABLE PERSONS IN SLOUGH, WINDSOR AND MAIDENHEAD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS OR DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE.
