We raise money to provide extra resources for the children at the school. We do this via a number of small school and community events, eg summer and winter fairs, raffles, pig races, quiz nights etc.

Choral singing group

We fund the installation of stair lifts, wheelchair ramps and other domestic aids for people diagnosed with cancer wishing to leave hospital. We work with all areas of the local NHS Trust.Promotional activities to inform local people of the funds purpose and workTrustees are conversant with the charity's aims and are confident with the process of reviewing applications.

The Greasby Afternoon Townswomen's Guild holds 2 meetings per month (August excepted), usually with a speaker. Additionally there is a leisure day when an outing is arranged with a possible visit to a museum or similar. Visits to a theatre are also arranged, plus a luncheon in August & at christmas. Funds are raised to support a chosen charity annually.

Welfare of serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

We aim to raise funds for school activities, equipment and facilities not provided for by the Local Education Authority. Projects to date include equipment for soft play area, safer surfacing for playgrounds, a new minibus, outdoor trampoline, sensory lights for hydro pool & artificial grass for learning outside the classroom. Support for education and research towards children's wellbeing led by the Children's Orthopaedic Department of Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Our charity and Italian language school offers courses for Italian children living and studying in the UK and for children of other nationalities approaching Italian as a foreign language. We also welcome young people and adults interested in studying the language. Our teaching spans from nursery-age children to students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams.

To run events and raise money for the Birkenhead High School Academy.

We are a non audition amateur orchestra. We meet regularly during school term time of a Thursday evening for rehearsal from 7:30pm to 10pm at West Kirby United Reformed Church Hall, CH48 5DA. We perform two regular concerts a year - Christmas and summer with occasional charity concerts to help raise funds for other charities. We encourage friendship and support for each other through our music.
