Friends of Overchurch infant schools aim is to run fundraising events for the benefit of Overchurch Infant School.

West Kirby Womens institute is part of the National Federation of Womens Institutes (NFWI). WKWI is self governing and operates within the framework of the NFWI Constitution , rules and guidance.WKWI is an independent charity supporting local charities and organisations by raising funds through organised events , donations and giving of grants .

The object of the charity is to assist the teaching staff and the school governors to improve the facilities of the school and the opportunities available to the children. Funds are raised mainly through school fairs and social events, and have been used recently to help pay for the redevelopment of the playgrounds, purchase of educational equipment and funding of school trips.
