SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

To preserve and document Merseyside and the North West's tramway heritage

The making of donations to local, national and international charities. Supporting other deserving causes (primarily local to Wallasey but also more widely on Merseyside), sponsoring exchange students, sponsoring educational and social activities for young students, senior and other citizens and supporting Rotary Foundation.

The Foresters' Horn Group RDA enriches lives through horses. We provide riding sessions twice a week in term time at two venues in Wirral. The sessions cater for children, young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities and help them to develop new skills and enjoy being with horses. The group is run entirely by volunteers.

THE AIM IS TO ASSIST YOUNG WOMEN, OF NON-VOCATIONAL and VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, IN BUYING EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS, NEEDED TO HELP GAIN A QUALIFICATION AND ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE.

We are a scout group operating for the good of local children

The Greasby Afternoon Townswomen's Guild holds 2 meetings per month (August excepted), usually with a speaker. Additionally there is a leisure day when an outing is arranged with a possible visit to a museum or similar. Visits to a theatre are also arranged, plus a luncheon in August & at christmas. Funds are raised to support a chosen charity annually.

We deliver items, goods or services to people in need who apply to the charity. We operate in an area centred on Chester, Cheshire. We look to promote and encourage acts of kindness. We look to promote the charity through word of mouth, social media, printed material and a website.

We hold regular meetings and workshops to further education and interest in lacemaking. We also demonstrate lacemaking to the general public when invited.

We are a non audition amateur orchestra. We meet regularly during school term time of a Thursday evening for rehearsal from 7:30pm to 10pm at West Kirby United Reformed Church Hall, CH48 5DA. We perform two regular concerts a year - Christmas and summer with occasional charity concerts to help raise funds for other charities. We encourage friendship and support for each other through our music.

Raising money to pay for equipment and resources to benefit the children at Black Horse Hill Junior School and Infant School.

Personalised Assisted Living (PALS) Trust has the purpose of relieving disabled people resident from time to time in Candle Factory Court, Marshall Close, Bromborough Pool, who are in need, by providing specially designed and adapted housing and items, services and facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.

Provide Islamic cultural activities. Five times a day prayer. Learning how to read Quran.Visit the sick, provide funeral servise ,Give comfort to sick and elderly. etc

HOBY UK organises residential seminars and one-day workshops for young people, led by young people. We improve their life-outcomes by developing their self-awareness and self-esteem, building their confidence and providing them with leadership skills. We empower and motivate them to become involved in positive social action in their community.

Rock Ferry Spiritualist Church is an Independent Spiritualist Church based on Merseyside that hold services upholding the Principals of the Spiritualist movement. We also offer Spiritual Healing and training to become a qualified spiritual Healer.There are also development classes for those wishing to understand and develop their spiritual selves.
