The principal activity of the company is to advance the education and training of young people, pupils and students in Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire & south Oxfordshire with particular regard to the development of commercial and business skills and methods and other related matters.

Headway Thames Valley aims to increase understanding of brain injury and its consequences using individual programmes to enhance cognitive, physical and personal development and encouraging the return to as normal a life as possible. It is a continuation in CIO form of the original reg. charity The Crowthorne Old Age to Teen Society (COATS) no. 259897. All the assets have been transferred to the CIO.
