St. Mary's Wythall is a local Parish Church, promoting in the Ecclesiastical Parish the whole mission of the church. We hold Sunday and mid-week services, groups for prayer, Bible study and friendship. We run events for the elderly, after-school clubs with a Christian theme, youth clubs and a baby & toddler group. We support local and overseas charities.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BY THE PROCLAMATION AND WITNESS OF THE GOSPEL AS CONTAINED WITHIN THE BIBLE WHICH WE BELIEVE IS FULLY INSPIRED BY GOD.A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES DEVELOP FROM THIS CORE FAITH WHICH INCLUDES ALL AGE GROUPS FROM CRECHE TO SENIOR CITIZENS AND WORK WITH THOSE IN NEED WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Religious Activities

LARC owns and operates Grange Court in Leominster as a Heritage, Community and Enterprise Hub.It is working with community and voluntary groups across the area to promote its charitable objectives.

Tackling anti-social behavior, enhancing multi-cultural relationships, promoting well being of European Minorities, supporting European migrants living in Great Britain

We recruit and train parent volunteers who then offer home visiting befriending support to local families who are experiencing difficulties and have a child under 18 years of age.

Operating as 3 separate Anglican churches within the Parish, spreading the Gospel through a range of services and local community initiatives

Provides a door to door community transport service for the residents of Wyre Forest District, Worcestershire and surrounding Counties who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical) or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

The income from the assets of the Charity is held on trust to apply the same for the benefit of needy persons in the City of Worcester. Needy persons are defined for the purposes of the Charity as persons who by reason of poverty, sickness or infirmity whether young or old are in need of financial assistance, care or attention.

Provision of emergency food to people in crisis.

The principal activity is to promote and encourage ,horticulture, conservation and forestry for the public benefit and to improve and advance them in all branches and in all trades,crafts and professions with them in an exclusively charitable manner.Educational advancement in all the above by granting of bursaries.Promotion of the above to the public by holding of an annual show.

We meet regularly for worship; celebrating the Communion; engage in evangelism and mission, encourage the inclusion of all people; nurture Christian disciples; educate and train people for Christian and community service; encourage engagement in pastoral care; support charitable social action in the United Kingdom and abroad; relate with Christian groups locally and nationally.

The provision of a one to one mentoring service to young adults who are at risk of disengaging from their learning. Our aim is to improve their engagement in learning and the service is delivered mainly but not exclusively delivered in schools and can include support to the families of these young people. Mentor link operates in the Midlands and South Midlands area.

ATE is an educational trust which runs residential holiday camps called 'Superweeks' during the Christmas, Easter and summer school holidays. The children come from all over the UK and beyond. Young adult volunteers are trained by ATE to work with the children on Superweeks. The charity also engages in a limited amount of work with schools including residential courses and staff INSET

Offers financial assistance, further education grants, bursaries to assist with the payment of school fees and capital grants to schools and other charitable educational organisations.

The Trust holds land for protection and preservation. It provides facilities for primary and infant school children mostly from the Birmingham Education Authority and a wider area to visit a working farm with a range of livestock. It gives opportunities for outdoor activities for groups of young people using a building in the Wyre Forest.

Home-Start North East Worcestershire works in the areas of Bromsgrove and Redditch Local Authorities with families who have a child up to the age of eighteen. The charity provides volunteers and support workers who support the whole family. Work undertaken is done in conjunction with both statutory and non-statutory organisations in the area.

CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

Severn Freewheelers provide a free courier service to the NHS in North Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to transport urgently needed items such as blood, drugs and samples. Ten emergency service bikes and three cars are available 365 days a year, with members working week days, evenings and weekends. Fleet riders & drivers hold Advanced Licences.

The Trust brings together 27 Maintained Nursery Schools to forfill its charitable purposes. The advancement of education and care for children under five and their families is central to our work. Through the work of our teaching school alliance we provide CPD,research and support to other practitioners to advance quality in all setting who work with children under five.
