Girlguiding UK, as part of a worldwide movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

Only applications from and in respect of charities/expenditure in the West Midlands area will be considered. Applications should include recent accounts. The majority of donations made are in respect of animal welfare & conservation, children's welfare, care of the elderly & physically or mentally handicapped and general medical. Applications for donations for other purposes are considered.

We offer a practical child-centred approach for 2-5 year olds, where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace. Children are exposed to a variety of experiences to encourage creativity, individuality, and develop self confidence in order that they are prepared when its time to start school. The church exists for the benefit of the local community to provide services and activities in accordance with the purposes of the Methodist Church.

We are a church seeking to engage with our local community through provision of Sunday services, youth work, coffee morning as well as providing a venue for a variety of other community groups. We also support overseas missions as well as those more local.

Working alongside Gambian schools and communities we go beyond handouts to provide the education, support and funding needed for people to become independent, and find a sustainable solution to poverty.
