The charity provides charitable funding to organisations that will benefit the inhabitants of Malvern and the surrounding districts as the trustees may select.

Money is raised by events such as Autumn Fayres, Garden Parties and Raffles etc. The funds are used to buy wheelchairs and other equipment such as bathroom aids and walkers, which are lent to elderly people who are need.

Beacon Camera Club is based in Malvern in Worcestershire and aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art.
