The Group's primary function is to provide Associates with the opportunity to improve their standard of car driving to the level necessary to pass the IAM's Advanced Driving Test.

To provide support and guidance in preparing for the IAM RoadSmart advanced driving test.

We provide facilities for parents of sick children which are handed over for the hospital board to manage.

Providing childcare in the Dee Valley Community

To assist with and help the museum activities and to bring to the public details and information of local interest by holding talks and lectures about local history past and present.

making grants to organisations which benefit the promotion of the Christian Faith in the local area

Supporting and maintaining groups of children at an early age with view to learning the Welsh Language.

The Foundation activities are to provide supportive funding to: (i) People who wish to train in the field of midwifery and health visiting (ii) People who (and projects which) promote and advance the issues prevalent throughout the post-natal care period. This support will be focussed in the North Wales area.

Religious activities within the Diocese of St.Asaph.

The Club organises various fundraising activities in the local community including a sponsored walk and a street collection. Funds are also raised through quizes and concerts supported by members and friends. Donations by members supported by Gift Aid make up the balance.The three major areas of disbursment of funds are Local and UK charities, Rotary Foundation and other International Charities.

LEADERSHIP EVENTS AND GATHERINGS, YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONFERENCES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HUMANITARIAN, AID WORK, ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING & MODERN SLAVERY: AWARENESS RAISING AND TRAINING, SURVIVOR SUPPORT FROM RESCUE TO LONG TERM REHABILITATION. ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH. SUPPORTING EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT AND SCHOOLS.

In the past year Members Attended over 40 incidents on behalf of the Walsh Ambulance Service across North Wales.Many emergencies were of a life threatening nature, some were fatalities while others resulted in lives saved.We Provide care and treatment pre-hospital which is not carried out by paramedics due to different skills of the Doctors involved.

The activities of the Charitable Trust are to make grants and donations to individuals, groups, community associations, local or national charities in Denbigh, St Asaph, Llandudno, Ruthin, Tattenhall, Menai Bridge and in the surrounding areas of North Wales and Cheshire. Particular emphasis is made on local communities and grassroots benefit.

PRESERVATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE MINING INDUSTRY OF NORTH WALES

OPERATES AS A VILLAGE HALL AND COMMUNITY WELLBEING HUB FOR THE RESIDENTS AND GROUPS OF MARCHWIEL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS.

To give disabled people (wheelchair users, visually impaired etc.) chance to get out and enjoy the countryside. To offer multi-media dance, recreation and wildlife projects.

Fundraising for resources for all the children at Ysgol Bro Alun e.g. Easter Bingo, Christmas Disco, Christmas Concerts, Film Night, Nature Trail, Non-Uniform Day

The charity promotes widespread perfomances of the art form of jazz and organizes educational events which aim to increase public appreciation of the art form and to enable musicians to develop their full potential. In addition, it provides an advice service for bodies wishing to present jazz events and for the general public.

The Charity?s Objects are to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation and protection of the Great crested newt in statutory protected sites and connected areas in North East Wales.

We are the Parent Teachers Association for the school raising funds to support the pupils and enhance their education environment

Aid for young people under 25 in full time educatrion

1) to advance the education of the public in First Aid and defibrillation2) the protection and preservation of life through the provision of community public access defibrillators.3) supporting our community by using technology and team skills to identify, collate and publish information during adverse events

VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SCHOOL/INDIVIDUALS

General church activities in our local area and reaching out with other churches to reach the wider area. We also support ministries in Africa and help to support a school in Uganda.
