The International Society of Hypertension (ISH) is the premier global body dedicated to research, education and clinical excellence in blood pressure and related cardiovascular disease. Highlighted activities include: Scientific Meetings, New Investigator and Women in Hypertension Research networks and educational activities with a focus on economically disadvantaged countries.

The Foundation is named for the late General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers (England and Wales) who died suddenly in April 2008. It continues his work by promoting the Sustainable Development Goals for education by encouraging teachers worldwide to contribute their experience and expertise to projects which advance the achievement of these goals.

World Connect International, UK invests directly in the ideas of local leaders who are best positioned to drive self-sustaining development in their communities. Their ideas have lifted the lives of over 1 million people in 1,600 communities worldwide. The CIO provides grants directly to communities in the Global South to launch their own project ideas.

We are the UK HQ of the Free Methodist Church with 25 Churches in GB, 5 in NI, 3 affiliates in England,1 in Eire. In 2016 we furthered our religious and charitable work by operationally, financially, and spiritually supporting new and existing churches in the UK, raising funds/volunteers for international childcare, a missionary hospital in Rwanda, other overseas mission and humanitarian relief .

The charity in line with its aims has been investing the donations received to date and is currently reviewing the investments in order to make a decision on what charitable activities/grants are to be undertaken in the next year from income received.

To prevent and relieve poverty and to promote sustainable development, in socially and economically disadvantaged communities, in some of the least developed countries in the world.

Supporting The Falconer Children's Home and Orphanage in Zambia by :-1.sending out parcels of clothing, dried foods, and toiletries.2.forwarding gifts of money for the local needs of the home and helping with projects to aid the Home's immediate and long term development.

The charity's principal objects include the advancement of education in accountancy, financial management and related subjects as well as the support of individuals studying such subjects. It provides CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to members of ACCA and members of the public. It also provides a magazine Student Accountant, technical publications and promotes accounting research.

The Charity supports the sick and the poor mainly at St Francis Hospital, Katete in Zambia as well as other projects within the Eastern Province of Zambia

THROUGH THE POWER OF FOOTBALL, PLAY IT FORWARD INSPIRES AND EMPOWERS A WHOLE NEW GENERATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ZAMBIA TO TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR LIVES. OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE EDUCATION, WATER AND SANITATION AND HEALTH PROJECTS.

Emerging Leaders exists to bring tangible hope to the worlds poorest communities through the very best leadership training. Currently operations exist in Kenya and South Africa with plans in motion to move into West Africa and to expand operations in the UK focusing on NEET (not in education, employment or training) youth.

Community Outreach - Helping homeless people with food, accommodation and clothing. We are focusing on helping people in their homes by providing domiciliary care. We have a charity shop that also helps volunteers with special needs gain skills. We help look after widows and orphans in Zambia and other parts of Africa. We are currently building a nursing home in Zambia.

Good Neighbours UK (GNUK) fundraises and manages projects locally, nationally and internationally to ensure vulnerable people can exercise their human rights no matter where they live. It is an independent, self-governing organisation that affiliates with Good Neighbours International (GN). Through this affiliation, GNUK becomes part of the world alliance of Good Neighbours.

Kids Alive International (called Hope for Kids until Sept 2021) works around the world to provide quality holistic care to orphans and vulnerable children. Our vision is a world where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We accomplish this by supporting Care Centres, Schools, Residential Care and Community Programmes operated by our US partner Kids Alive International.

The primary objectives of MMM are to:Raise awareness of health issues surrounding high BP and emphasize the importance of regular blood pressure measurementEncourage and facilitate opportunistic BP screenings in local communitiesSupport research and advocacy efforts to improve global hypertension management

The relief of necessitous persons who are or have been members of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, or any predecessor body, and of necessitous persons connected by ties of relationship or dependency at any time with persons who are or at any time were such members.

Supporting religious and other charitable works carried out by members of the Order in health, education and social work, especially in Africa, Latin America and Middle East. The Comboni Centre offers individual & group opportunities for encounters of prayer and mission related topics. The Sisters visit the housebound, help with the homeless/refugees and participate in justice & peace programmes.

The objects of the charity are: * Welfare of animals. * Preservation of the environment. * Support of charities connected with education, the Army and chartered accountants. * Literary and musical societies.

The Charity's objects are restricted specifically to the advancement of such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not exclusively through the making of grants.
