The charity raises funds for a Christian school in Zambia. The Trustees meet twice a year, normally in October and April. Fellowship Days are also held in April when some 60 to 70 folk from the UK come to receive an update on the work at Chengelo School in Zambia. Various fund raising activities are held throughout the year in different areas.

Campaigning & Advocacy work this lies at the core of what we do. We support local actors in southern Africa and lobby key stakeholders in the UK to push for change and secure rights, equality and development for the region.Advancing education of the public on Southern Africa, by highlighting the causes of underdevelopment, poverty and conflict and exposing the destructive legacies of apartheid

Our charity aims to promote gender equality and assist women and girls in Africa. We achieve this by supporting voluntary organizations working towards improving the lives of women and girls in Africa through advice, resources, training, grants, and skill development. We also provide educational courses and knowledge-sharing networks to leaders of these organizations.

The education and relief of poverty of children under the age of 21 in the continent of Africa

1. To proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through activities such as regular Sunday meetings and weekly activities; conferences, ministerial training and seminars.2. To share and demonstrate God?s love by ministering to the needs of people (both members and general public).

Improving the lives of children in Government Primary Schools and Orphanages using Tag Rugby as the vehicle. The coaching programme brings together children, teachers, local volunteers and touring volunteers to achieve its goals.

THE TWO MAIN AREAS OR ACTIVITIES THAT THE WOOD WORLD MISSIONS OPERATES UNDER ARE AS FOLLOWS: A) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BY MINISTERING THE WORD OF GOD; AND B) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP OR WHO ARE AGED OR SICK AND TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS CAUSED THEREBY.

Care for the poorest of the poor, the homeless, abandoned orphans, aged poor, widows, lonely, spiritually poor etc. by feeding, clothing, educating, sheltering, or providing vocational training, care for the lepers, blind, deaf & dumb as well as accident victims. We also hope to develop within the community at large respect for those who are destitute and a sense of responsibility towards them

Our mission is to make a way where there is no way for the poor, sick, marginalised, uneducated, and displaced by creating a community committed to generating and sharing personal and corporate wealth to help balance an unbalanced world.

African Child Trust (ACT) is working to relieve poverty among disadvantaged children and women-led households in Africa. We are educating children and orphans and empowering widows and women-in-need through training and income generation for sustainable livelihood to support their families. We are engaging UK youths in global citizenship awareness and international development experience.

Transplant Links aims to give relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people throughout the world.To provide transplant services and training in the achievement of the above purpose

Safe Sport International seeks to end violence and abuse against athletes.Its core work is to:1. Set the standard for the minimum infrastructure internationally, and nationally, to safeguard athletes2. Develop and communicate safeguarding practices for sport3. Assist organisations to deliver safe sport through training and consultancy4. Deliver biannual global conventions sharing learning

The object of the Charity is to relieve persons who are in condtions of need, hardship or distree by reason of their social or economic circumstances by the provision of facilities, buildings, equipment, medication or other necessary supplies.

Raising funds, primarily from British Baptist Churches, for use supporting projects in developing countries designed to enable the poorest of the poor to generate their own income and support.

We support projects that improve access to education, healthcare and safe water by developing community infrastructure; increase household food and health and income security by supporting livelihood development; and focus on sustainable, trans-formative change, rather than aid during crisis.

Our aim is to empower and support community organisations with programmes that help them to engage and nurture young people of faith and no faith on a weekly basis in their community. We do this through a bespoke training and coaching programme that addresses the local needs of young people in each community.
